Orange reminded me of sunsets, and sunsets reminded me of you. And because of that, the ending of each day was made sweeter because of that memory of you under the hues of the ochre sky. It almost made me envious of how the sun's golden rays kissed your skin, enveloping you in its golden glow. But I also can't blame the celestial body for wanting to embrace a beauty far out of reach. But I suppose I'll forgive it just once because of the picture it left for me to engrave in my mind. And as the day neared its end, I thought it wouldn't get any better until you looked back at me and gave me that kind smile, that same smile that captured my heart in ropes. But it left me feeling bittersweet because if the sun fell for you, what more the people around you?
