Unforeseen Reunion

CHAPTER 1

Author's Note: if you skip the note I posted, I want to remind you again that chapter 1-5 will be a quick story of the main's character story in the past.

"Are you ready?" Mom asked me as soon as she entered my room. We have a family dinner today together with my dad's new business partner family that's why I have to fix myself to be presentable when I meet them. This is the first time I will join them and I have never got the chance to attend last time since I am busy doing my plates and some activities in school.

"Yes mom"I smiled and see my final look in my mirror before we both went downstairs.

"You look gorgeous ate" my little sister complement me.

"San Banda sis?" Jake ask Leila, our younger sister.

"Nagsalita ang mukhang waiter ang outfit" sabat ko sa nakakabwisit kong kapatid.

"That's enough! Let's go" suway sa Amin ni daddy at agad Naman kaming sumunod sa kanya.

Agad akong namangha nang makarating na sa mansion ng mga Valdejas. Super Ganda ng design ng gate at labas ng mansion nila, paano pa kaya sa loob? How I wish I could design a beautiful house someday.

"You still look young and stunning Mrs. Monteverde" a beautiful woman greeted my mother as soon as we enter their house. Everything inside this house is so elegant and it's already expected from this elite family.

"Is she your eldest daughter?" The man ask my dad which I believe Mr. Valdejas.

"Yes and she is Leanne" My dad introduce me. "hello po" I said with a smile on my face.

Agad Namang dumako ang tingin namin nang bumaba ang Isang seryosong binata na halos copy paste ng Mukha ni Mr. Valdejas. Ang seryoso ng kanyang Mukha Habang naglalakad papalapit sa Amin.

"Leanne, this is my only son, Horven James Aiden Valdejas" pagpapakilala ni Mrs. Valdejas sa anak nya sa akin since ako lang ang Hindi pa nakakakilala sa kanya.

"Son, meet this gorgeous girl, Leanne Monteverde" his mom introduced me to him. I offered my hand which he accept Naman at Wala pa atang tatlong Segundo nang bitawan nya ang kamay ko. Akala mo Naman may germs ang kamay ko pero Hindi ko rin Naman gustong hawakan ang kamay nya Lalo na at sobrang sungit ng awra.

They invited us already in their dining area and they prepared so many foods na Akala mo Naman magpapa fiesta sa isang buong baranggay.

I and Leila was just silently eating while they are talking about business. "What degree are you taking iha?" Tita Veane ask me, I'll just call her that since it's so formal to call her Mrs. Valdejas.

"I'm currently studying architecture at UST tita" sagot ko at uminom ng tubig since tapos Naman na akong kumain.

"James same school pala kayo, have you never met before?" Tanong nya sa Amin ng anak nya. I have never meet him and in fact, ang dami kayang studyante and ang lawak din ng school.

"Mom, I'm a law student and she said she's an architecture student, how could I met her in school" sagot Naman ng anak nya. Pwede Namang oo at hindi lang ang sagot kailangan pa ng short intro.

Hindi na sumagot pa si Tita sa anak at bumalik na Naman sa business ang topic nila. After dinner ay umuwi na kami. Mabuti nalang at weekend bukas dahil Ngayon ko lang naalala na Hindi ko pa pala tapos yung report ko bukas.

"Uy ex mo" turo ni Jake kay Michael. We just broke up two months ago and mabuti nalang right after final exam sya nakipag break. I even remember how wasted I am at G bar that night because of him.
