Unforeseen Reunion

CHAPTER 4

I don't know how to react with that sudden confession. Yes, I do like him, but i don't have the courage to confess too. Is this the reason why he ask me to come here? Just to confess his feelings without even thinking that I might reject him?

"I know it's so sudden, but you don't have to like me back. Let's just enjoy this vacation" he said when i was still in shock. I want to say something, pero ni isang salita ay parang hindi kayang lumabas sa bibig ko.

"You know what? Gutom lang yan" I utter which is so stupid of me to react that way. I know he is sincere about his feelings. It's just that i don't want to get caught that i have a feelings for him too.

"Yeah right " he just agreed. I still feel so awkward while we are walking near the restaurant.

"A table for two sir?" A Filipino waiter ask. Well, i can see it that he is a Filipino base from his looks.

"Yes please" i answered because Horven seems so occupied. Maybe he is thinking about his sudden confessions which i neither accept nor reject.

"Hey! Is everything alright?" I ask after i order food for the both of us.

"Yeah" he said and take the call when his phone rings.

We are both silent and no one dares to talk until we finish eating dinner.

Bumalik na kami sa hotel after naming kumain. Pinauna ko muna syang mag shower since antagal kong mag shower or maligo. Minsan nga ay umaabot ako ng mahigit isang oras sa banyo.

I uploaded our photos together on my Instagram na agad namang nakita ng mga kaibigan ko na tambay sa social media.

Napairap naman ako nang mabasa ang comment ng kapatid ko na akala mo naman hindi nag hongkong kasama ang ex nya.

@shriakat: woah couz, update naman dyan? Nag Maldives as a friend ba?

@heartyclea: si i won't fall for him pala to e! Kayo na no?

Hindi ko na sila rineplayan at sunod sunod rin ang messages nila sa akin. Pa lowbat na ang phone ko at nakalimutan ko pang dalhin ang charger ko. Sakto namang tapos na si Horven mag shower at ako na next.

"Horv, pahiram charger mo please" kailangan ko mag please at baka hindi nya ako pahiramin kahit halos ata ng gamit nya nahiram ko na.

"Take a shower and I'll just charge your phone later. Where's your blower?" Oo naghihiraman kami ng gamit pero binabalik nya, ako kasi hindi at sanay na sya dun.

"Check my luggage. It's there" I said as I enter the bathroom.

We spent our second day here doing water activities and of course we just treat each other as friend and I just pretend that nothing's happened in our first day here.

"Mom will like this, what do you think?" I ask Horven while we are buying souvenir for our friends and family.

"It's look beautiful and yeah, tita will love it for sure" kaya Naman binili ko na.

It's our last day today kaya Naman sinusulit ko talaga dahil hindi ko alam kailan ulit ako makakabalik dito.

"What's your dream guy?" He suddenly ask all of a sudden. We are again watching the sunset for the last time. I love sunset as it makes me feel relax and stress free and I guess, he loves to confess while watching sunset. Pang ilan kaya ako sa mga babaeng dinala nya dito just to confess?
