Our chapter begins a few years later at the hospital where we see Izuku getting his quirk testing done. Inko is excited to know if her son has a quirk or not. While Toshinori is sold on him having a quirk due to many interactions.
[Toshinori Flash Backs]
[1 and 1/2 Year Ago]
We see Inko dicing onions and suddenly gets a phone call. All the while a young Izuku standing in a chair watching his mom dicing vegetables to make pork katsu fried rice. While Toshinori is putting Izumi in her play pen.
Inko: Toshi could you take over dicing.
Toshinori: Of course honey.
Inko then leaves to answer her phone while Toshinori is walking up to dice up vegetables. He then looks at Izuku as Izuku then raises his hand and dices all the vegetables into perfect one inch cubes. Toshinori is scared shitless and he is shaking while going to put the knife away. Then Inko walks back in and sees all the vegetables diced up perfectly.
Inko: Oh my thank you so much Toshi.
*kisses Toshinori on the cheek*
Toshinori: Of course I will go watch Izumi.
Inko is confused on why he is acting like that but just ignored it putting it up to stress of being the number 1 hero in Japan. Continues making dinner.
[1 Year Ago]
Toshinori is taking Izuku and Izumi to the park. While their at the park Toshinori watches as Izuku decides to try pull-ups. And breaks the pull-up bar.
Toshinori(mind): What the fuck?!
Toshinori then runs over to check on things while holding Izumi. He then sees Izuku holding whats left of the pull-up bar.
Toshinori: Izuku how did you do that?
Izuku: I just wanted to try a pull-up and the bar broke.
So Toshinori picked up Izuku and ran home. And while home he watched Izuku try push-ups next. And did 100 in 10 seconds. Toshinori was is utter shock that Izuku was this strong at only 3 years old. And Izuku made it look effortless. Then Izuku looked at Toshinori with a very smug look.
Izuku: Looks like i'm going to surpass you early old man
Toshinori looks to see his step son is becoming rather built very quickly.
[6 Months Ago]
Toshinori and Inko get into a heated argument over Izuku's future. Soon they decide to separate before things get worse. Inko heads to Izumi's room and shuts the door leaving Toshinori in the living room. Then Izuku comes to him.
Izuku(menacingly): What was that about old man?
Toshinori(frightened): N...Nothing Izuku I s....swear.
Izuku(menacingly): Then why were you and mom yelling at each other?
Toshinori(frightened): We were arguing about something stupid.
Izuku(menacingly): Then you should go and apologize to her before something bad happens to you.
Toshinori then gets up and walks to apologize to Inko. While that was happening Izuku decided to see just what he could do. And so he walked out side and then decided to try and pull a rock to him. But he instead did this.
