Raven Wilton and Mattheo Riddle had been childhood acquaintances. Some might say they were friends, which was completely the opposite since Raven hated him and the feeling was mutual. This feud was mostly Mattheo's fault since he had no interest in becoming friends with Raven and so Raven held a grudge against him, that was only shown in the eyes of their own. Their parents at one point did think of marrying them when they were older, but of course they were quickly talked out of it.

"That's weird. Expected you to be more happy to see me."
"Oh I'm just enlightened, now give my ribbon back Mattheo." Raven said, opening her hand for him to put it in. He stared at her hand then shook his head.
"Nuh uh."
"The fuck you mean, 'nuh uh?!'" She said angrily, trying to swipe it from him. Mattheo raised his arms, chuckling.
"You are insufferable and annoying, now hand the ribbon."
"Oh dear, I don't think anyone would appreciate your language Wilton."

"Enough of this immature behaviour." A voice spoke up, it was Tori.
"Oh, you can talk." Mattheo rubbed his forehead, glaring at Tori.
"Hand the ribbon back to Raven." Tori ordered, folding her arms, giving him an annoyed look.
Raven just gaped at their interaction. Having a literal argument in front of her. She snatched ribbon from Mattheo and fixed her hair.

"Wouldn't want to be late." She smiled and ran off.

...

TORI'S POV:

"Great. Now we're late." She groaned, pinching in between her eyes. "Let's hope we don't have Snape... He'll definitely write up a detention for the both of us, and then compare us to our father..."
"Who cares. We won't win the house cup anyway, you know how that old fart is."

Although they were late, the two were walking at a slow pace, like they didn't want to be there.

"Do you know where your idiotic older brother is."

"How would I know where that weirdo goes."
Mattheo poked her in the ribs and was met with a glare and a punch in side, causing him to stop.

"Real... mature!" He groaned and flipped her off.

"Geez. You're such a baby." Tori rolled her eyes and kicked his leg, "Hurry up before I leave you behind."

"I'd rather die then go with you." He snapped.

"The die!" She snapped back, leaving him behind.

...

"Tori Riddle. You're late."
She sighed and was about to explain when Mattheo appeared behind her, out of breath.
"I... was in- the bathroom- sir."
"Goodness sake.. just take a seat."
Both of the students scurried to their seats.
"This is clearly your fault." Tori said as she sat down, giving her brother a glare.
"How is it my fault! You should've stuck your nose out of my business." Mattheo shot back with a glare.
"Ugh! Just stop talking to me, you disgrace."
"Fine by me. Half-blood."
"Huh!"

Wow. They do not get along... at all...
Which is what everyone was thinking.
Unfortunately for Xavier, he was in their row.
Lord take me now...

"Hey you two... maybe if you went silent. The world would be a better place." Xavier smiled. He was met with two glares and one middle finger.

"Geez ok."

...

JANES POV:

Scribbling notes but also shooting glances at Xavier and the people he was seated with. She chuckled and continued writing. She looked up, meeting the gaze of Xavier. He mouthed something that nobody else would understand.

This is boring...

She smiled and nodded as if she was agreeing with him. It felt weird though, she already was so close to someone she just met. Or perhaps it was just the thought.
