Jenny and Xavier sinked into the couch. The party was finally over and they could rest at last.
"Can't you believe it... in a few days, we'll go to Hogwarts. Live a little. You know? All that stuff." Xavier smiled and sighed.
"You won't let your friends make fun of me right? You know what Malfoy called me when you left my side. He said I was my father's disappointment." Jenny huffed and folded her arms.
"Fuck Malfoy. He has daddy issues and he can't stand being wrong." Xavier scoffed.
She smiled. "Glad someone is on my side today..." She sighed. "Did you know mother was a Gryffindor?"
"Yeah. I know. It was an arranged marriage anyway. Their families are both rich bastards." Xavier groaned and pinched in between his eyes.
"But seriously Xav. You better not abandon me." Jenny turned to him seriously.
Xavier smiled and took out his pointer finger. "I won't. Rosenfields promise."
Jenny smiled and wrapped her thumb around his finger. "Rosenfields promise." She smiled.
Xavier and Jenny burst out laughing and leaned back on the sofa.
...
"Alright children." Xavier and Jenny's mom smiled at them. Summer Heathens kissed them both on the top of their heads and hugged them tight. "Behave alright. I don't want something bad to happen to the both of you."
Xavier nodded. "Yes mother."
"Yes mother." Jenny smiled.
Summer hugged them both again. "I love you both. Hold onto your wands alright?" She smiled brightly. "Look after your sister Xavier."
Xavier nodded. "Rosenfields promise!"
She smiled and put out her pointer finger. Jenny and Xavier wrapped their pinkies around her finger.
"Rosenfields promise." They both said in sync before letting go and smiling.
Their mother smiled and hugged them again. "Go on then my little angels."
Jenny and Xavier glanced at the train, waved their mom goodbye and got on the train. Their mother smiled and quickly left, since she was still busy.
"You go find your friends Jen." Xavier said, before parting away from her. Jenny was about to reach out for him but stopped and sighed, before turning away and walking around the train.
The truth was no one wanted to talk to her, and since all of her friends were in Slytherin she couldn't talk to them at all. She sighed but then bumped into someone. She stopped and apologised. She glanced up and was staring at Jane Seymour. Jane glanced at her but then quickly helped her up.
"Heathens sister I assume?" Jane smiled at her. Before Jenny could respond, Tori ran up to Jane and linked arms.
"Jane! I need you to sit with me. My brother is forcing me and Mattheo to sit with him. So I need you now!" Tori dragged Jane away from Jenny quickly, before shooting Jenny a glare and she heard Jane say something to Jane.
Jenny sighed and rolled her eyes at that, she glanced around. She glanced at one of the carts and opened it before walking inside.
"Jenny!"
She nearly gasped. Raven Wilton. The prettiest girl she had ever laid her eyes upon. She won't admit it but she had a secret crush on her when she was younger. Maybe still now.
"Hi. Am I allowed to stay with you guys?" Jenny smiled.
"Of course! My brother will be joining us in a while." Raven smiled, crossing her hands.
