A Mother's Love

In shadows cast by memories dear,
A mother's heart, burdened with silent tears.
Her gaze, a canvas of love untold,
Longing for the warmth of a small hand to hold.

Whispers of lullabies linger in the air,
A cradle of sorrow, an empty rocking chair.
Tiny footsteps echo in corridors of the mind,
A lonesome symphony, in silence entwined.

Through moonlit nights, she reaches for a star,
Yearning for a glimpse, a connection from afar.
A lullaby sung by the breeze, a bittersweet song,
A mother's love, eternally strong.

In dreams, she cradles him, embraces the past,
A love so profound, a bond that will last.
Though grief may linger, and tears freely flow,
Her love transcends, an eternal glow.
