After LA was finished, I headed to my second class. It went like normal, just introducing us to what was going to happen, and giving us a syllabus.
Surprisingly, everything went as normal. Until fifth period. Right after lunch, I headed up and got my notebook, pencil case, planner, ect. and went into Science class.
I sat at my table and class started out normal, and the teacher gave us a syllabus, and showed us safety equipment just in case something went wrong.
Soon, my arms started to itch like crazy. When I looked at them, they seemed almost hairy and fuzzy. I quickly covered my arms and asked to go to the bathroom. Stereotypical school avoidance, I know.
By the time I actually found my way to the bathroom, my arms looked... feathery!? I quickly rushed into a stall to check again. They were covered in brown, tan, and white feathers. I nearly screamed.
I tried to contemplate what to do, but then the bell rang. Last period. What was I going to do??? I couldn't skip it, it was my first day. At the same time, I couldn't go because of my... feathers.
Suddenly the intercom turned on. "May Amaya and Brendon Camira come to the office for dismissal."
I stared on in disbelief. No way I was being dismissed. I quickly covered up my arms and walked out of the stall.
The bell rang again, marking it to be last period. I went into science and quietly grabbed my stuff, before packing everything away. I saw Brendon a few lockers away from me. His sleeves were all the way down.
He hates his sleeves being down. Out of reflex, he almost rolled them up, and I caught a glimpse of brown and white feathers, before he pulled them down again and looked at me.
"You have them too!?" I almost shouted in surprise. He looked at me, eyes wide. "What do you mean, 'too'!?" I looked around and rolled up my sleeves a small bit.
Soon, we pack up and rush outside as quickly as we can. I suddenly stop as I feel a presence above me. I look up and just see a bird. Then I hear a voice.
"Who's there!?" I shout and turn around, only to see Brendon, looking bewildered. I hear it again above me, and look up again. Just a bird...?
"Did you just... chirp!?" Brendon starts laughing and continues walking. "Cmon, Maya. What was that?" I look directly at him and the voice stops.
"What are you talking about? Didn't you hear that voice?" I ask. He looks at me again, even more confused than before. "What voice? You mean the bird? That's all I heard." Then mom comes out of her car and walks to us.
She looks at us and directs us to the car, not saying anything. "Mom? Are you ok?" I ask, concerned. "I'm fine, just... I need to show you something."
______________________________WOO! Ok, so, I'm wondering if I should make a separate story based on Brendon's pov. It might be fun, but it would basically be the same story. Should I or should I not?
