Chapter 3

MK's POV
I woke up to a very loud noise same to Redson. "What the-" I said before I felt someone grab me and ran away. I saw Nezha carrying Redson and Mei was carrying me as they were both running away. Monkey King's terrifying eyes glowed in the dark as he was chasing us. We exit the mountain and got through a portal that Macaque summoned. I was at Pigsy's place.. I was free.. I felt tears form. "I-I-... I'm finally free!! I'm finally back!" I said. Pigsy gave me some noodles and I ate it quickly. "Ohh I miss this so much!! I can finally go deliver noodles, defeat easy bad guys, and more! It will all be normal!!" I said excitedly but the look that they gave me.. It wasn't over. My smile faded as my excitement went away. "Hey at least you're able to eat something else other than humans." Redson said, comforting me until we heard a loud roar that sent chills down our spines, making us frozen for a moment. "Wa..Was that.. Monkey King..?" I asked. They nodded and I felt fear come upon me. Macaque took us all into a hiding place though we can still hear Monkey King's roars. "So what's the plan Mei?" Nezha asked her. "MK I'm sorry but we have to use you as bait.." Mei said. "It's fine! Just make sure to save me please.." I said to Mei but it was too late. After almost 2 hours, I could feel Monkey King getting closer. My eyes glowed a yellow color for a second. "Guess nothing is keeping you away from Sun Wukong kid.." Macaque said as the others look at him in confusion. "I can hear him but he's far." Macaque said and I felt fear rise. "He's coming closer as if he can sense MK..." Macaque said. "Well that makes sense but we need to plan quickly!" Nezha yelled. We made a quick plan and they sent me outside. "F-Father!!" I yelled in fear. I didn't want to return to being trapped and eating humans on an island, so I hope this does work.. though the grass and the trees were very relaxing. I then heard Monkey King calling for me. Now I have to act out.. "Father!! I'm over here!" I yelled out and then I made eye contact with him once we saw each other. He ran up and hugged me. "Son I'm so glad you're ok!" Monkey King said. I smiled then I saw Nezha and Macaque sneaking up on him. Monkey King backed away from me. "I'm glad that you managed to escape from them though where is your husband?" He asked me then he got hit with a needle. "W-What-.." Monkey King said and Mei went to come and grab me before Monkey King could which was a very bad idea.. Monkey King let out a loud roar which stopped everyone. They all were scared even Mei who stopped and looked behind to see Monkey King running after her. Monkey King grabbed me and Mei looked at him in terror. "C-Can we not kill her dad?-" I asked Monkey King. This time he shook his head and it didn't seem like the needle did its effect. Mei was completely frozen staring into Monkey King's terrifying eyes. He put me down and was about to attack Mei until there was a loud cry.. ringing in my ears. I felt myself sobbing looking at the blood. Monkey King looked at me and started yelling but I couldn't tell what he was saying.. The blood.. it wasn't Mei's blood..

It was my blood.

I felt blood coming out of my mouth as I see everyone in panic especially Monkey King. "P-Pa..pa.." I said as I tried to reach my hands out for Monkey King. Monkey King picked me up and ran away then everything went black.
