Chapter 5 GOOD

MK's POV
I woke up to seeing Monkey King snuggling up against me. I quietly got up and got off my nest to text Mei. Mei messaged back telling me that Monkey King should be back to normal, I just have to wait for him to wake up. I was relieved to know that Monkey King will be fine. Then Macaque came up from behind me. "Hey buddy." Macaque said and I quickly turned around, facing him. "Oh hey Macaque!" I said with my face brightening up in joy. I no longer have to eat humans and I don't have to be trapped here. After hearing Monkey King, Macaque hid and I was just standing there. Then I saw Monkey King walking out of the nest and he saw me. "Oh hey bud! What's with the scared face? Did something happen?" Monkey King asked. I was relieved to see his golden eyes again. Then Macaque came in. "Oh you.." Monkey King scowled. "Yep it's me." Macaque said with an evil smile. "Well anyways- Monkey King you were about to kill me but then stopped to treat me like your own son, but I was trapped on an island eating humans basically." I explained in the shortest way I could think of. "So then why are you bandaged?" Monkey King asked me. "You were about to attack the dragon horse girl and eat her but instead you attacked MK because he went in between the both of you." Macaque explained. "Kid why would you do that?? I know you're trying to save your friends, but I could've killed you!" Monkey King said and I looked away then he sighed. "I'll let you off the hook, but promise me you won't make a sacrifice like that again?" He said with a worried look. I looked at him and nodded. "Alright.. You probably don't want to stay here any longer after what happened so you're free to go." he told me and I came back. Mei knocked me down with a hug and they were all crying. I smiled and I felt tears forming, glad that I no longer have to suffer through this. I spent time with them for hours until it was the next day. Today I didn't have training with Monkey King, so I went to deliver the noodles and fought easy bad guys. I went home to take a shower, and since I had nothing else to do, I went to text Redson. Oh how much I missed him... I asked him about if we should meet in the park, in person and he agreed. The rest of the day me and Mei played with each other. Then I fell asleep. I did the same thing noodles, bad guys, and shower. Now it was time for me to visit Redson. I went to the park and sat down on a bench waiting for Redson. Now it was the afternoon.. the sun was setting and I was still waiting until I saw someone. He ran to me and then breathed heavily, catching his breath. I smiled joyfully "Hey Redson!" I said. He sat down next to me "h-hey noodle boy.." he said in a low quiet voice. "So about what I said about marrying you.." I said and Redson immediately looked at me. "Oh-" is what he said. "What about it?" He asked me. "Uhm.. it's true that I'm a hero and you're a villain but I still love you. I'm sorry it's kinda like how would a hero fall in love with a villain??" I said as he looked at me. He didn't seemed disgusted or bothered at all. "Well.." he said which caught my attention fast. "I guess I could say the same thing.. I just couldn't say it because I was so scared of my own feelings. But just know that I will always love you noodle boy.." he said and I smiled happily. "So does this make us..?" I asked and he nodded. "Yes, yes it does noodle boy." He stated and we both slowly got closer to each other to where our lips touched..

*years later*

I was getting ready for today's special event. I had my outfit on and everything! Then they called me and I walked down the aisle. I saw Redson and after I got up the stage, he looked at me and his face turned red. "Y-You look.." he stuttered. "Beautiful?" I said and he nodded. After some words, Mei finally said "Mr. Red boy, the prince of the demon bull family, do you take MK as your husband?" Mei said in her manly voice. "Yes, yes I do." Redson said formally. "Now MK, the city's hero, do you take Redson as your husband." Mei asked me and I nodded quickly. "Yes I do!" I said in a loud voice. "You may kiss the groom." Mei said and me and Redson pulled each other in for a kiss as the others cheered and clapped. Even DBK and PIF which shocked me, but I at least have this freedom..
