(Hermione's POV)
Hermione was at her and Ron's flat in the living room laying on the couch, cuddled in a blanket, reading a book. It was already getting cold outside, even though is was still September. Her phone rang next to her, making her drop the book in surprise. She answered it and Ginny started talking before she could even say hello.

"Hi Hermione, I know this is sudden, but can I come over tomorrow night? I really need a girls night. Harry's driving up the wall! We don't have Teddy right now because Andromeda has him for the weekend. Harry's bored and been bugging me all day because he got the day off and my practice was canceled. Maybe him and Ron could have a boys night! Sorry this is so sudden but I just..." Hermione laughed.

"Ginny, you have to give me a chance to answer! Second of all, hello to you too." She laughed again.

"Oh, sorry"

"I'd be happy to have a girls night with you! Ron's been driving me crazy as well. We can watch some movies and you'll catch me up on all the drama that I've missed! I mean, you can rant about the drama, while I pretend to listen." She answered, and Ginny giggled.

"We do that every time. We should go out!" Ginny exclaimed, and Hermione groaned.

"Of course you don't want to go out." Ginny said, still laughing.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Hermione asked, now scowling.

"Hermione, you know I'm teasing. But it's true that you don't get out very often. You never dress up and go to party's or on dates with Ron that aren't in your own kitchen. We're going out. To a club. Well dance, have a few drinks, and loosen up a bit WITHOUT the boys hovering over us. Doesn't it sound lovely? Maybe you'll find someone who you like better than my loser of a brother, whom I don't know why you like by the way!" She said excitedly.

Hermione rolled her eyes at that. She really didn't want to go out but she knew what Ginny said was right. And she wanted to spend time with Ginny. She also did want a break from Ron.

She loved him but still needed breaks from him occasionally. He'd always been a lot and a begged for attention. It was just exhausting at times. She supposed that came from being the second youngest in the big family but it was annoying sometimes.

"Ginny, I don't have anything to wear," She sighed.

She knew that Ginny would drag her somewhere to buy a new dress so she didn't have an excuse. If her and Ginny were the same size she would have borrowed something but the was several sizes smaller than Ginny and also quite a few inches shorter. All the girls in her dorm at Hogwarts had always said they they were jealous of her body but, didn't understand why it mattered when she was younger.

All of the girls at Hogwarts were always so worried with how they looked, but Hermione had never cared about any of it at the time. Unfortunately, she was a little more self conscious now that she was older.

How could she not be? She was almost as famous as Harry nowadays. Anything she did with her life was constantly on the news, and she knew that people looked up to her. Especially young muggleborn girls. She couldn't go out with all of her friends because everyone would always recognize 'the boy who defeated you know who and his two best friends, the brightest witch of this age and.... the other one.'

Anyways, because of this, she didn't really own anything that would even be appropriate for a work party let alone a club! She had a few summer dresses but never wore them. She never felt comfortable in anything that showed much. Also, she never wore short sleeves. Ever. Hence what she wore to work at the ministry every day was effected by this. She wore either a skirt at or below her knees or work pants, a long sleeve blouse, and black flats. Her home clothes consisted of sweats, loose jeans, long-sleeve shirts, joggers, leggings, and shorts. That was about it. All very plain and not at all flattering.
