It was already late at night, Brain was in a deep sleep in the guest room, but meanwhile, in the main bedroom, Gazef was wide awake and relaxing.

He was remembering his adventure and battle with the mannequin warrior, he looked at the side of his room and there it was, the legendary armor he obtained after defeating the mannequin.

As he remembered the past events, he suddenly got a flashback of a certain object he had forgotten, "The book!"

Gazef got up and pulled out a drawer underneath his bed, from it he took out an object that was wrapped in a tan cloth. He sat back on his bed and unveiled the book, It looked just as magical as it did before.

"I wonder what this is?", Gazef opened the chapter and started reading, or at least that was what he planned on doing, instead he ended up being stunned. The book was written in a strange language that he couldn't comprehend, he flipped the pages, but nothing, all the characters inside were unreadable, "What do I do with this?"

Gazef sighed and placed the book back in the drawer he then continued lying in bed meditating. He was trying to sleep in order to speak with the Guardian of Souls.

As he lay in bed relaxing, he whispered a small incantation, the incantation was given by Guardian in case he had ever made a choice, the choice of continuing to support his king or instead supporting Ainz.

"Vocate me ad eum", Gazef suddenly felt a pull.

The pull itself was strong but he recognized this sensation, it was his soul and mind going to the location where the Guardian was.

Gazef opened his eyes and saw the wood he was touching, he was in a kneeling position. As he stood up he turned to look at his surroundings. It was just like he remembered, an old giant boat floating in a river of white and black souls, and in front of him, the Guardian of Souls.

"Gazef Stronoff, you have returned, shall I assume you have made the important decision", the Guardian said as he maneuvered the boat without looking at him.

Gazef bowed, "Greetings, and yes, I have come to give you my decision."

The Guardian stopped rowing and made the row shrink into his staff as he turned to face the human, "And what choice is that Gazef?"

The royal head warrior stood steadfast, "We need Ainz, the kingdom needs him."

He looked confidently at the deity in front of him, somehow he felt like the guardian was smiling at him.

The Guardian nodded, "That choice, is the wisest one. Gazef Stronoff, take this."

The Guardian knelt and manifested a big white piece of parchment, the parchment floated slowly down toward him. Now in Gazef's hands, he noticed that the item in his hand wasn't parchment, it was a piece of paper, but for some reason, it was white like snow, as if it was made with no impurities.

The white paper suddenly started being covered with what seemed like paint, the image was a bunch of small squares and open spaces. Gazef opened his eyes finally realizing what the image was, "A map of the kingdom?"

Gazef quickly realized this wasn't correct, "No, it's a map of my district and..."

The map highlighted his house with two small green lights in it, Gazef assumed that the light was him and Brain,  before highlighting a mansion a dozen blocks away and two green lights.

"Is this him!", Gazef asked amazed that Ainz was close by.

"No. Those are Lord Ainz's subordinates, they will guide you to him, you'll need to seek them out first. They will be waiting for you", The Guardian replied.
