Troubles of Being a Ruler

Currently inside The Great Tomb of Nazarick, in a grand study that was designed for the one who ruled above the forty-one supreme beings. This room wasn't empty, there were three humanoid figures in it, one of them was holding an orb, this item was The Orb of Recording, it had the ability to record videos or make a projection of things that happened. These three figures were all viewing the projection caught in The Orb of Recording. 

"I see", Ainz was honestly wetting his pants, he was way too shocked from what he just figured out. A paladin in bright white armor had just attacked Shalltear and knocked her back, he then left. Ainz wasn't shocked that Shalltear attacked, but from what the paladin meant. The Paladin seemed to be one of the so-called thirteen heroes from the legends of Re-Estize. 

He then turned to Filius who was holding the orb, "So you say that you believe that this Paladin Warrior is one of The Thirteen Heroes, the one who wielded the swords of darkness."

"Yes", Filius nodded, "From what Ninya told us, the warrior was a knight in full armor and he wielded four swords, but legends always change, maybe the knight didn't wear black armor and maybe his weapons weren't swords but various weapons. There's also the theory that he might be a different hero, and the last one, that he might not be one of the thirteen heroes at all. Still, even with all these ideas, we need to be wary of him, he was able to knock out Shalltear and escape, a person capable of that must be at a high level in power and skill." 

Ainz and Albedo nodded in agreement, Filius then spoke once more. "I believe we should be cautious about what we do from now on", he suggested.

Albedo was the next to speak, "What do you mean? Even if that creature is strong, with the combined forces of Ainz and the guardians it would be easy to defeat. We should not just stop our goals for one little encounter?"

Filius shook his head, "I wasn't talking about stopping our plans, rather just be a bit more careful. If we were forced to walk on ice, we want to be flying rather than walking. This means we should extend our network, make sure that we have enough resources, not just from Nazarick but also from the new world. "

Ainz nodded in that suggestion, he loved that Filius was smart with his words. Ainz would become even more confident in his plans when Filius suggested ideas and introduced various viewpoints. Ainz then spoke, "Albedo", Albedo then turned to Ainz, "I want you to fortify our defenses, make sure that all the plans for Nazarick's defense are absolutely perfect, I want a backup plan for the backup plan, if you need help you may ask it from Demiurge and Cocytus, understood?"

Albedo bowed, "Yes Lord Ainz." 

Ainz then signaled her to go and do her job immediately, Filius saw Albedo leave and once he knew she had left he turned back to his father, "Father....have you not been interested..... in getting married?"

"Erk!", Ainz coughed, he was shocked to his core, his son had just asked if he was interested in getting married. He turned to look at Filius, "What makes you ask that?"

"Sorry if I'm out of line here, Father", Filius bowed.

"Not at all, just tell me why do you think that?", Ainz asked.

"Well, You are the Last supreme Being here in this world. As the last of your race wouldn't it be fruitful to extend your lineage?", he asked.

[This again], Ainz mentally groaned, it wasn't the first time that Filius suggested this bloodline thing, but in all honesty, Ainz wasn't interested in it. He didn't know whether his colleagues were in this world or not so he couldn't just create a family here. But then he got thoughts of his previous life, the life of a salaryman, working hard days and long nights in Japan. Did he really want that life once more?
