Now in E-Rantel......

Filius/ Killstag and Naberal/ Nabe, had just returned to the city of E-Rantel, they used the Gate spell and teleported to an alley near the INN they were using.

They walked out of the alley, before they left to the INN, Killstag extended his hand to Nabe, Nabe looked at the gesture and her face turned slightly pink. She took his hand and once their hands connected, they both locked their fingers into each other.

After walking a block, they made it to the INN, once they entered the place they walked up to the room they rented. They didn't need to notify the staff since they were already well known as high-level adventures. After their first mission, they quickly changed their base, since they had a higher rank as adventurers. They changed from that old pub INN to this finer one. The team was called for a Mythril level quest, their objective was to investigate the arrival and attack of a vampire, but that's all that Killstag and Nabe knew. Their leader Momon, had entered the meeting room by himself and he would have the details.

When they entered the room Killstang and Nabe stood there in front of their lord and master.

"I presume everything went well?", Filius asked.

"Yes it did, I managed to get the quest, but there is a slight problem", Momon said.

"And that would be?", Filius asked.

"There is another adventurer group joining us", he said, Filius was stunned, why were they forced to join this group.

After noticing the confusion in Filius's actions, Ainz decided to explain. He had told them that he was confronted by one of the adventuring teams leaders that disliked him. He didn't care about it though, that was until the man ordered that he and his team had to join in the exploration with Darkness.

Filius already understood what type of person that man was, he must be jealous and mad that a new team from out of nowhere had surpassed them in one go. That just meant that this leader was incompetent and that they would be eliminated.

"What annoying ants, they should be stepped on like the insects they are", Nabe snarled.

"Come Nabe, remember these humans don't know who Momon really is. They don't know that they are actually in the presence of the supreme being so it's obvious they would get mad if it was just a normal adventurer", stated Filius.

"When you put it that way, then these humans are truly pitiful for not being able to know the presence of an all-mighty being like Lord Ainz, but I still think they are insects that should grovel for Ainz's mercy", Nabe stated her opinion.

Ainz was stunned, he never heard Nabe's opinion before, was this due to Filius? Ainz then looked at their hands, since the moment they entered they had them connected, he finally got it. Nabe was opening up a little, this made him proud of his son, he was able to spark new change in The Great Tomb of Nazarick. This solved one of his theories that he made up the night before, if NPC's could grow like actual living beings, then that meant they could get better and become stronger and smarter. Though he wanted to do more experiments before he could form a conclusion.

"Yes, we shouldn't get mad or annoyed that they act stubborn in these situations. But this doesn't mean we will allow them to trample over my home or my children", Ainz was specifically talking about the warriors from the Slane Theocracy that brainwashed Shalltear.

Yes, thanks to Filius's idea of the backup team for NPC's that left on missions, they had managed to trail the warriors that attacked Shalltear to the nation they came from. It was shocking to Ainz that a small idea like that managed to find the roots of a bigger problem that was yet to come. From what they knew so far was that the Theocracy was the strongest out of all the nations and that it hated the undead and demihumans, they were a nation consisting of human supremacists. What Ainz wanted to do before he attacked them was that he wanted to strengthen the power of Nazarick. He wanted to control many nations and then wipe the Theocracy, obviously, he would change the ideals of the common people but he wanted the big shots gone, especially since they had powerful brain control magic.
