I groan and get up to turn it off. Once I turned it off I went to the balcony and let the dogs out. The balcony wraps around the back and end with stairs so the dogs can run down inti the yard when they want.
I walk into my closet and pick out a black gym set and go downstairs into the kitchen.

After my hour workout I went and showered, did my skincare/ makeup. I changed into black pants and a black hoodie. I didn't have to go to the office but I wanted to. I made sure the dogs were fed and had water before I grabbed random keys and left for the office.

Once I arrived I said hi to everyone. I answered phone calls sent out emails and did everything I had to but something felt off.
Then it hit me like a brick.
Fuck I'm being married off to a man Ive never met. And he's going to be at the auction that's happening tomorrow. I was brought back from my thoughts by my phone ringing.
I lock up my office and answer the phone.
"What?"
"Come to the house right now" Javen says and hangs up the phone.
What the fuck is happening.
I try calling him over and over but he never answers the phone.
I yell in my car.
I get to the house a soon as I can.
I see multiple cars parked outside that aren't ours. I put my alo baseball cap and some sun glasses, I grab a gun and slide in my waist band.
I walk into the house and take off my sunglasses.
I walk into the living room but no one is there. I walk into the kitchen bur no one is there either.
I finally check my phone and check the tracker app. It says they're all in the meeting room. But why we had no meetings scheduled for today.
