Asher pov

My alarm rings

I walk downstairs and feed the dogs, I walk into the gym.

After the gym I went and showered.

What am I doing today. I have to go to mom's house and then I have to drop the dogs off and then I have to make a stop at the Armani family house.

I decide on wearing an all black suit.

I grab all the dogs and put them in the back of the car.

I run into mom's house.

"Asher honey" she says from the living room.

"Hey mom" I say hugging her back.

"Where you off to sweetie?" She asks.

"I have to drop the dogs off and then I have to go to the Armani family house." I tell her.

"Well when you can, come visit us and say hi to Aylin and tell her I want to meet her before the wedding" she says with a small sad smile.

"I will mom" I say hugging her and running back to the car.

I pull into the Armani family house. I get out and walk into the house.

"Oh sure let yourself in" I hear from the living room.

"Javen, good morning" O say with a teasing smile.

"Dad's in the meeting room" he says.

I walk up to the meeting room. I knock on the door and let myself in.

"Asher what can I do for you?" He says once seeing me.

"Morning, I just wanted to asl when the wedding is?"

"Ah in now 1 week. Everything is taken care of. Aylin just needs her dress" he says.

"Thank you" I say and walk back to my car.

I call Aurelia.

"Hello?" She answers.

"What is Aylin's starbucks order?" I ask.

"A pink drink with extra strawberries and a cake pop" she says.

"Thank you" I say and hang up.

I drove into starbucks and picked up the order.

I finally reach her house.

I grab all the dogs and walk into her house.

I walk into the kitchen and place the starbucks down.

I see sniper running in the yard. That dog.

I walk around looking for Aylin. I walk by her room and hear somebody talking.

I look in and see Aylin tied to her bed posts. Blood dripping from her arm. Her head hung low.

"So where is the necklace?" The man asks. I take a step closer and see the one and only Melvin. All by himself. Well we did kill all his men.

"I'm going to fuck your brain out. And get that child then together we will take down Asher" I chuckle at hearing this.

"Who's there?" Melvin asks.

I walk into the bedroom.

"Well well well if it isn't Melvin, you just keep going, I must say I'm very surprised to see you here all alone where are your men?" I ask. Fright covers his eyes.

"A..Asher" he stutters. What is it with people stuttering lately.

"Let go of my wife" I say. He obeys and unties her. She falls to the floor. She's weak.

"Fucking asshole" I say and shoot him. He falls to the floor. I run iver to Aylin.

"Asher" she says and hugs me. I freeze but then give in and hug her back. Her scent seeps into my nose.

I carry her onto the bed.

"Got you when you were sleeping huh" I say and she nods.

"Are you hurt? Did he touch you?" I ask skimming over her body
