"So, if that's true not only can you sleep together, but you can also reproduce."

Um, wow so there is smut towards the end of this chapter. It'll be pretty obvious when it's about to start so there won't be a warning right before.

"What the fuck Star?!"

Star's eyes widened realizing what she had said, she could've worded that better. "Well, what I mean is, I was speaking to King Trollex, and I wasn't even sure you guys could be intimate-" mid-sentence Trollex appeared before her. "Stop." He ordered, then zipped back to Ash's side.

Her mouth quickly snapped shut.

"You were speaking to Trollex about whether or not I could be intimate with him? Why the fuck would you two be talking about that?" Ash turned towards Trollex to question him. "Why were you talking to her about that?" Within the next second Trollex carried her far enough away that Star wouldn't be able to hear. "I'll explain later, okay?" He whispered. Ash raised a brow but nodded, it would be better to hear each side separately anyway. She wasn't too concerned, it was more that she was curious about how that weird conversation happened.

Trollex brought her back before Star within seconds. Star wondered if that made Ash feel sick how fast he moved with her in his arms. It made her dizzy enough watching him zip around normally, she couldn't imagine him carrying her through it.

"You said Hickory kissed you." Ash decided to bring it up, curious about her reaction.

"No. Ash, we have to speak about this random troll who is claiming to be your relative. This is clearly more important." Star snapped at her best friend. Though the look the king tossed her made her regret the tone she had used. "Sorry, sorry. It's just, so much is happening. Can we focus on this and then we'll have girl talk, okay?"

It took a while but Ash and Trollex were able to cover most of what was said by Kai. Star stared at both Ash and Trollex in disbelief. "Wow, I don't know what to say. Are you going tomorrow? You're not going by yourself, right? Can I come? Do you think Emma's friend is the ancestor I was talking about when we attempted to do that summoning?"

"I'll be going with Trollex, and of course, it'll probably be better if you go too. I really need to write down my questions. I have so many, if I don't, I'll forget half of them." Ash leaned into Trollex as she spoke. "God, this is so weird."

"King Trollex, you sound distrusting of him. Does he give off a bad vibe or something?" Star's best friend is usually a good judge of character, the fact she didn't seem as distrusting was odd. Ash just seemed confused. After learning the details about Queen Barb's world tour. Everyone, including Trollex, forgave her instantly. Nobody is holding a grudge or really distrusting her from what Star's seen and heard. Yet here Trollex is seemingly really frustrated with some guy who hasn't harmed anyone, from the little information they shared, it sounds like he's trying to help Ash.

Kai's words about him disrespecting Ash had bothered Trollex, it was offensive he'd think such a thing. "He appeared suddenly after some supposed sorcerer had been somehow getting into our heads. Claiming to be her great-grandfather, doing the math he would have to be over one hundred years old. Trolls don't live that long, and even when they do, they age. Of course, I don't trust him." He looked like he glitched for a moment after he spoke. Maybe it was something techno trolls did when irritated or something.

"Okay, yes. But, weirdly, Emma's story is so similar to ours and if Emma's friend is actually related to you like we think, then her doing something that stupid even in that time period sounds about right."
