"Onii-san! Wait!" My little brother, Kaiji, shouts with a smile, chasing after me.
"Hurry! Or im gonna eat your popsicle!" I tease walking farther ahead of Kaiji. As Kaiji gets closer, he clings on to my arm, immediately stealing the popsicle from me with his mouth.
He runs ahead of me and turns around. He takes the popsicle out of his mouth and sticks his tongue out, pulling his under eyelid down. He rushes forward and makes a sharp turn into our house doorway, shutting the door behind him.
I give a small laugh and make my way towards our house.
As I make my way there, I notice a book in a bush. Laying on top of the bush's leaf covered branches.
A black notebook with death note written on it in Japanese.
I hum and grab it from the bush. As soon as my fingers graze the cover, goosebumps cover my skin.
I shake off my suspicions and flip through the pages, noticing instructions? On the first few pages.
I close the book before reading the instructions, shoving it in my school bag.

"Goodnight, Otouto." I yawn, shutting my door.
As I throw my bag on my bed, the black notebook peeks out of my bags opening.
"Oh, right!" I remind myself, grabbing the notebook.
I walk over to my desk and sit in the chair. Opening the notebook. (F/c) stickers decorate my desk, making me smile at the sight of them.
I open the book and begin to red the first instruction page.
"The human whose name is written in this note-"
My eyes widened, but I quickly calmed. ''This must be a joke." I scoffed. I cross my arms and push the book to the side of my desk. I sigh and jump on to my bed. I lay on my back and face the ceiling, my arms cushioning my head. "That book is obviously a fake."
