He went to look for his first victim, Bulbasaur following him. He decided to go after Sparkling cookie, he hid the Bulbasaur and pretended like he was walking in to help Sparkling with his bar.
Sparkling greeted Herb well, thinking that he was ther to help. Then, when the bar closed, Herb looked at Sparkling in a strange way. Sparkling thought nothing of it, atleast... Until Herb Summoned a gigantic carnivorous plant that trapped Sparkling.
Luckily a passerby saw this and reported it to the police before Herb could've killed Sparkling. The authorities arrived, apprehending Herb and freeing Sparkling.
The authorities warned Herb that if he did that again, he would go to court.
Herb nodded silently, still grinning at Sparkling.
Sparkling, who was very frightened, as his best friend (definitley not boyfriend) tried to murder him.
The authorities left as Sparkling was Staring at Herb in shock. He (Sparkling) Felt...Betrayed, like he couldn't trust anyone anymore. Herb stayed silent as he walked away.
5 days later, everyone was avoiding Herb as they heard of what happened to Sparkling. His bar being on hiatus until he recovers from trauma.
When reporters asked Sparkling about the details of that night, he recalled a shadowy figure following Herb, it looked like a frog, but with an onion on its back. Authorities suspect that it is a being from another universe, that has corrupted Herb's mind, hence the urge to murder people. They identified a suspect to be this mysterious being, A "Bulbasaur" from the world of "Pokemon"
