Two months before the draft, the days were just a combination of working out and quality time. Workouts in the morning and quality time for the rest of the day. Me and Lee were keeping our bodies ready doing our usual workouts.

"Hey Y/n, have you decided whether or not you're staying here for the draft" Lee asks
"I've been thinking about it but I feel like it's just easier to stay here" I say
"Well I might go to the States for the draft, I feel like even if I do go undrafted, I'll still have the G-League" Lee says dribbling the ball
"When do you plan on leaving, I need to be there to send off my long time brother" I say stretching
"Maybe next week or the week after that, I want to get used to the area" Lee says shooting the ball
"Well whenever you leave, text me and I'll come send you off" I say still stretching
"Nah cap you don't got to do that, I don't want you to wake up that early just to send me off" Lee says shooting the ball again
"You know what I realized Lee" I say walking onto the court
"What" Lee says shooting again
"This'll be the last time I see you Lee" I say grabbing the rebound
"It seems like it will be the last time, one last run for old times sake" Lee says calling for the ball
"This time keep count of your points and don't cheat, I know you lie a lot" I say wiping my shoes off
"I don't lie about my points, I always keep track of them" Lee says passing the ball back to Y/n
"Alright then first to 11" I say blowing pass Lee and scoring the first point
"Come on Cap, we doing that already" he laughs passing the ball

"Well you should know it's coming" I say attempting to do again
"Nope try something else Cap" he says getting in front of me in time
"You remember that one time Lee, you were trying to impress your crush" I say stepping back and shooting but missing it
"And I ended up embarrassing myself after because I tripped" he says grabbing the board and running back
"And I had to pick you up and help you redeem yourself with her" I say guarding up
"Well even after that, it was a common joke among the team" he laughs shooting and making it

"I mean we had to joke around with you since y'all are now together" I say laughing sides stepping and shooting the ball
"I mean yeah we're together but everyone asks how we met and I just tell them that" he says looking at the ball go in and looking back at me
Score: 3-2
"It still doesn't feel real Lee, I mean we're very close to getting into the NBA" I say grabbing the rebound and passing him the ball
"All those tournaments, all those early morning workouts and stuff, could pay off once we get drafted" he says driving to the basket
"The blood, sweat, and tears we put into this game will be worth it" I say sliding in front of him to stop him
"Still have those fast defensive reflexes Cap, no wonder other points couldn't get around you" he says pulling back and shooting
"Ain't no way that's going in" I say looking at the ball go in and shaking my head
