Before that first game of my career, it was nerve racking, knowing all these fans are waiting to see what they invested in me and I knew I had to show up in my first game.

"Welcome back everyone to NBA Basketball, Mike Breen with Jeff Van Gundy, and finally after the long summer wait it is time for NBA Basketball and Jeff we will see the start of Y/n Pham as he his in that shooting guard/ point guard role" Mike says
"You're right he can do both for this team by taking the offensive pressure off of Stephen Curry and since the Jordan Poole trade a lot of fans haven't really been impressed with what Y/n has been doing, so I believe he has to prove all of his haters wrong in his first game" Jeff says
"Y/n come here for a sec" Coach says
"Yeah coach what is it" I ask
"Can you feel the tension in the building" Coach asks
"I can feel it very much, it's overwhelming" I say
"Don't be intimidated by the fans because they don't see what we see in you Y/n" Coach says
"I understand coach" I say nodding my head
"So get out there and change their minds Pham" Coach says patting my back
"Yes sir" I say running onto the court
"We are close to tip-off and you can just feel the excitement in this building Jeff" Mike says
"The excitement and tension because as you know these Warriors fans weren't big on the drafting of Y/n Pham" Jeff says
"It looks like Y/n has a chip on his shoulder coming into this season" Mike says
"We've seen what this kid could do and I want to see how he pairs with Curry" Jeff says
"You're right because Pham has said in the past that he is a Stephen Curry fan so I wonder how he feels playing with his idol" Mike says
"Well let's see these two in action as pregame comes to an end Mike" Jeff says
"Aye rook come here for a sec" Steph says
"Yeah" I say walking over
"Remember take your first game one step at a time because our first games are our most memorable" Steph says
"Yes sir" I nod
"Aye rook call me Steph okay don't be so formal with me now that we're teammates" Steph says
"Okay Steph" I say rubbing my hands together
"Alright rook let's have fun out there tonight" He says doing a handshake

"And here is the start of a new season, Steph walks up with the ball and passes it to Pham" Mike says
"Minji-unnie did the game start" Hyein asks
"Yessss so better hurry up so we can all watch Y/n" I say
"Minji have you seen my phone" Haerin asks
"Did you check your bedside table" I ask
"Found it unnie" Haerin says
"Girls hurry before Y/n scores his first points" I say watching the game
