This has been living in my head for a while now and I need to get it out. Takes place after chapter 23.

'How's that?' I called down to Brainstorm as I hung from the ceiling, pushing off the metal of the large portal device I'd been working on and dropping the blowtorch down to my brothers.

The blue mech gave me a thumbs-up from the computer as he typed away, 'All circuits in order.' He called, 'Thanks, kid.'

I grinned at him and looked down at Chromedome as he stood on the floor underneath me. 'No, don't you even!' He started but moved anyway.

I unclipped the latches on my waist that held me in the air, 'Catch me!' I yelled and dropped a few meters to the floor. He immediately lunged forward and grabbed me in his arms, sighing while I giggled.

Rumble and Frenzy then yelled out as well and attached themselves to his legs, making Chrome look down at them as he tried walking away from the portal.

'I think you should keep them, they're a good look for you.' Rewind laughed from over by Brainstorm, filming what we were doing.

'Haha,' The orange mech said as he put me down and we stood a few meters away. 'Now now children, now's not the time for bickering.' Brainstorm teased as he looked up, 'You're about to witness history.'

'And he hasn't even told us what this is yet.' Frenzy muttered by my pedes, his hands on his hips, 'For all we know, this could be a black hole to hell or portal to the Pits.'

'It's none of those, don't worry!' Brainstorm called. I just laughed and looked at the frame of the portal. It was big, and I mean about two or three Fort Maximus's standing on top of each other big.

'So it's a spacebridge?' Rewind asked. 'Bingo tiny.' The scientist yelled, getting a short laugh from Chromedome, 'Rodimus has suggested I build one for us to travel more efficiently out in small groups of here so all I need to do is hook it up to the ship, and voila!'

I titled my helm and crossed my arms with a small frown on my face, 'Shouldn't Percy be here as well then?' I asked. My question was merely dismissed as Brain waved his servo at me and set the coordinates. 'You know he's busy with your sire, Megatron, and Rodimus getting everyone sorted out.' Ravage said from over on the bench with the other symbiotes.

'Right,' I muttered and turned back to the bridge. Rewind leaned forward in anticipation, his hand on the desk as Brain input the last lines of code.

'Ok, everyone!' He said, lifting his hand dramatically, 'Get ready to get out of here!' He then slammed his down on one button and we all looked up.

Except nothing happened.

'Well, that was anticlimactic.' Rumble laughed as Brainstorm quickly turned back to the computer. 'Radio, check panel 25J,' He called, trying to find what was wrong.

I rolled my eyes and walked over to the side of the machine, kneeling down and taking off a piece of metal on the surface, exposing a space filled with wires, circuits, and everything else.

'Try readjusting connection 91.39!' Brain called. I nodded back at him, my visor coming down so I could see inside and locate the switch I needed. I quickly reached in and grabbed the knob, turning it each way a bit.

'How's that?' I yelled back. He shook his head and looked up at me.

'Try more to the negative side!'

I did as he said and immediately felt an electrical current gently start pulsing under my digits. 'I think that did it!' I called, looking back at them with a grin.
