Y/N POV
After what happened that day, I could not face him anymore....neither he could, mostly we would find a way out of each other's face. What if he asks me about that day? What if he found me weird....what if he- all these questions haunted my head. I mostly stayed up in my room applying for jobs....yes I was searching for a job but this time not as a cafe worker or helper but a stable job-....I studied all day long preparing for the interviews and this helped me to avoid JUNGKOOK a lot....
*from the door* JUNGKOOK : um..Y/N...coffee?
Y/N : um yeah sure-
He came inside putting on the cup on my working table...
JUNGKOOK: Are you still applying?
Y/N : uh yes- A company called me for interview tomorrow...
JUNGKOOK : Th-That's great....All the best
I looked up at him to see him immediately divert his eyes- and walking out of the room....If he had stayed any longer, things could have gone awkward....
The next day
It was 10 in the morning and I was almost ready, packing up all the necessary files...I rushed downstairs shoving the sandwich into my mouth leaving for the interview...
Y/N : shit! Why isn't it here yet?!!!* I said checking my phone just to see the cab was still 15 mins away....* Gosh I can't be late today....
Should I ask JUNGKOOK to drop me? What if he refuses? Just then I saw JUNGKOOK leaving for office...My frustrated state was not unnoticed by him....
JUNGKOOK : You still here? aren't you late already?
Y/N : My uh- Cab is not here yet...
JUNGKOOK : You'll get late for the interview if you wait a minute longer....get inside lemme drop you...
Y/N : No its-
JUNGKOOK : Get in already Y/N ....
I gave him directions of the office and in no time We were in front of it
Y/N : Thanks for dropping me....
JUNGKOOK : No issues...go ahead and all the best...
I nodded and went inside....
Waiting for a couple of minutes ,I was finally called up for the interview...
??: So you're Kang Y/N...
Y/N : Yes sir...
??: Maybe you don't remember me*he said chuckling while checking the files*
Y/N : pardon sir?
??: I was present at your and JUNGKOOK's wedding....Kim Taehyung? remember? He introduced me to you?
Y/N : My bad sir....I couldn't recall-
TAEHYUNG : That's all right....ik you were not in the mood that day
I didn't knew what to say more so I just passed an awkward smile....JUNGKOOK could have told me earlier this was his friend's office when he dropped me here....
TAEHYUNG : Okay okay....let's get in to the actual interview then...
Y/N : Sure sir...
after the interview
TAEHYUNG : I'm quiet impressed with the interview Y/N....Thanks to JUNGKOOK I got an eligible employee *he said laughing*
