How long they've been Spiderman: A year and a half
Canon Event: Pretty much same as Gwen's. His cousin, in an attempt to be "special" like Cameron, drinks some sort of serum that ended up turning her into a monster that Cameron had to take down, accidentally killing her in the process. By the time police got to the scene, all they saw was Cyber Spider standing over a dead body and naturally assumed he killed her intentionally. To make matters worse, the first person to see him was the police chief, his mother. His immediate family quickly took to blaming Cyber Spider for her death, and the manhunt for Cyber Spider began. The only people who didn't blame him were his extended family. (This was a surprise to Cameron since not only did they know he was Cyber Spider, but she was also part of this family. He killed their daughter/sister and yet they still forgave him.)
