Silas's POV:
I watched as she and Eve walked through the garden, laughing.
She looked heaps happier than she was when she first came here.
I sighed and walked over to my desk and pulled out her file.
She was reported missing a few years ago, and she has been diagnosed with past trauma.
It's really quite sad. I'll ask her if she would like to see her parents again later.
I look like a creep watching her, but she's just so fascinating.
She's gone through so much pain, yet she's still here to this day with a smile on her face. It's not around me, of course, but you get the idea.
I sigh again, knowing that I won't be able to focus on work anytime soon.
It's odd because every time a man is around her, she panics, but when there's women around her, she's her happy self. I wonder what they did to you, Esmeray Stark.

I walked out to the garden and sat on a bench, waiting for Eve and Esmeray to stop talking to each other.
Esmeray notices me and runs to Eve, whispering in her ear. Eve nods and walks up to me and takes a seat next to me whilst Esmeray walks to the flower bushes and picks some.
"Has she mentioned her parents at all?" I asked Eve, and she shook her head.
"She acts as if she never had any but looked kinda out of it and stressed when I asked about her family," she sighed.
"Maybe they don't get along well?" I suggested.
"Maybe."
"Can I please go change?" Esmeray said. She was covered in dirt and leaves.
She looks at Eve to avoid my gaze.
"What happened?" Eve giggled.
"I was picking flowers but then i thought i saw a snake and then i fell into the bush," Esmeray grumbled. Eve laughed hysterically, and I chuckled.
Esmeray glanced at me curiously, and I smiled at her softly.
