I was woke up from my sleep to see a text from my girlfriend paige
Paige💍: hey b, happy fathers day🌺
Me: thank you beautiful😘
Paige💍: Did you tell them yet?
Me: no, i'll tell them at dinner.
I was waiting for her reply when reshona and raymone, busted in my room shouting "Happy fathers day!!" Reshona came up to me and handed me the tray of food she was holding. she made me a full fry up.
"Thanks guys" holding my hand out to hug her then pecked her forehead. They sat on my bed and we all ate together and had a little family time.
"You guys go get dressed. we're gonna have to some family time together plus i got some news to tell you over dinner"
"Okay" and with that they left my room.
I checked my phone for paige's reply.
Paige💍: make sure
Me: i will promise, g2g love you❤️
Paige💍: love you too
I really hope the kids are gonna take this well.

So i took the kids shopping then we went cinema and watch jurassic park in 3D...really good movie. now we're having dinner at some fancy restaurant in central.
"This is so posh, whats the occasion" ray asked
"I'm just trying to have quality time with my kids plus i got some news....As you know i've been seeing Paige for some time now and we think it's time we took it to the next level. I just gonna be straight forward, i asked paige to marry me. Her and son are going to move in with us"
I got no reply, the both of them just sat there staring at me.
"Guys, what are you thoughts on this?" Still no reply.
Reshona's POV✨
Don't get me wrong I'm really happy for my dad but everything's just happening too fast. I've only met paige a few times, didn't even know she had a son. A new stepbrother its always been just me and raymone but now we have a brother?
I guess I'm just going to have to live with it cause it's been a while since I've seen my dad so happy...not since mum left. I've missed this side of him and if paige makes him happy then i have no reason to be against their engagement.
"Although it's a massive shock, I'm really happy for you dad"
"Same here" raymone agreed
