Chapter Nine.

Alex's P.O.V.

I woke up to an empty game room.

I had no idea when i fell asleep while playing.

The party ended around midnight. The parents were a little tipsy while taking their children back to their home.

I was so sure today every parent will have a hangover.

Suprised that today i woke up by myself and that to too early. It is 6:00 am.

Everyday i am woked up by mum at 8:00 that too for school, otherwise i am not a morning person. My mum has a strange way of waking me up.

She would first open the curtains of my window so that she can make a way for the sun rays to peep in my room and directly onto my face, disturbing my sweet slumber.

Then she would open my window to let the city noise inside my room for hurting my innocent ears.

No matter what time it is, being in a city you should always know that the voice will never subside.

Then my mum would come towards me and pull off my duvet which was covering my face to avoid the sun rays and whisper in my ear," wake up baby. It's time for school." And then she would kiss me on my forehead.

I never liked it when she called me baby cause i was now a big boy but i could never resist her. I would always wake up after her kiss and start to get ready for the day.

Her way of waking me was strange but cute.

Now coming back to this game room.

Yesterday i had decided to stay and explore all the games as no one will scold me. Seeing all the party attenders elders were drunk, i assumed that my parents are drunk and wouldn't know whether i was sleeping or playing the whole night. (Actually i was not playing the whole night cause i slept in between.)

I was tired and all i wanted was to sleep on the bed not on a sofa of a game room.

I got up from the sofa distangling myself from the game wires and went towards the door.

I twisted the door knob and as the door opened i was shocked to see the scene set infront of me.

Now am gone for sure.

Annabeth's P.O.V.

The room was amazing. It was just as i like. Silent and peaceful. One can find solace here.

Books: They may not speak but they say alot.

There are so many books here.

I left the party last night secretly, even if i had left openly...my cousins would have never noticed my absence as they were so engrossed dancing.

Laura did not dance and stood with me for sometime but she too left the party and went to sleep cause she was tired. So after ten minutes of standing, looking at the couples dancing and being bored, i left the party and went to the library where i could not go before.

I have no idea at what time i slept while reading an amazing book on supernatural things.

But the sun streaming through the only window in the library woke me up.

The library is covered with full of books of various types.

Yesterday it took me whole one hour to find the most perfect book to read cause all the books title seemed interesting.

The library got one side fully glassed, which is the window. There are beautiful flower shaped red comfortable chairs in the library beside the window. Outside the window is a path leading to the parking lot. On the right outside there is a beautiful backyard garden with two wooden chairs and a mini fountain. Under the sun rays, it all looks beautiful.
