Chapter 6
After the last biology leson last week i havent seen Danny mch so i have no idea what we are doing for our project. Today being Wednesday i had a cover teacher so i didn't show up at my History leson. I made my way to my locker and found Danny at his ( a few lockers away from mine). I took my french books out of my bag and replace it with my gym kit. When i was sure i had everything i shut my locket to find Danny behind me.
"Umm.. Hey. I need to talk to you.. umm...about the biology project." Danny looked both uncomfortable and nevous, about what though i do not know.
"Yeah sure because i dont mind what we do so you can pick." I tried to keep my cool as best as i could.
"Okay then. I will get back to you. Anyway what would you prefer to do? Maybe a modal or essay or a presentation?" Danny looked really nervous an i was starting to wonder what was wrong.
"I really don't mind." I relpied as i didn't really care what we did at least we got good grades.
"Oh Okay. Well then i will see you around and get back to you."
"Ok Bye." and with that he turned and walked away towards the exit of the main building.
After a few days i saw Danny with little-miss Luisa the Slut. He looked really uncomfortable at his usual lunchtable with the rest of the football team and a bunch of cheerleaders. Sometimes he looked like he didn't belong and fit in with the others. As i was thinking Danny got up, pushing Luisa off of his lap, looked over my way and began making his way over. As he reached my table, where i was waiting for Lola, he sat right opposite.
"Umm.. Hi Jamie. I was wondering if you were free after school and could meet up in the libaray so we could start on the project." He was staring at the table which was inbetween us.
"Yeah umm.. Sure im free. So what time do you want to meet?" I must point out that i wsent usually this shy but talking to Danny, who was one of the most popular people in the school, did make me feel a bit anxouis. Even, aparently from what Lola told me, the younger students even had crushes on him. After school i made my way into a deserted libaray, I could see Danny sitting in the far corner burying his head into a book.
