"Cale-nim, I have a question."
"What is it?"
It has been one week and 5 days since Kim Namwoon moved in with me. When he first moved in with me he was amazed by everything, but he got used to it quickly. Just like in the novel, where he adapts well in the apocalypse.
In the few days of living with me, Kim Namwoon would call me 'Cale' only, however, after a few more days of living with me he started calling me 'Cale-nim'. I didn't really care much about it, plus it reminded me of Choi Han.
"Why do you always cook?"
"Huh?"
Cale was looking at Kim Namwoon with a 'What kind of question is that look' while Kim Namwoon continued on with his question.
"I mean, don't you have a chef? Like, you have maids so…"
At the end of the sentence Kim Namwoon trailed off, obvious as to what he was saying, Cale replied.
"I like cooking, that's why. I had a chef, his food was the best, however, he's not here right now since I'm in Korea."
It was a half truth half lie as cale responded, he didn't really like cooking. He was too lazy. Although the part where he had a chef was true, Beacrox's cooking is the best.
'I miss his cooking…'
" Ohh.. So that's it… "
Kim Namwoon said in enlightenment. As Cale saw this, he smirked to himself before putting on a sad face.
"Why did you ask? Is my cooking that bad?"
Cale had sad puppy eyes as he said that while snickering internally as he waited for Kim Namwoon's reply.
"What?! No! No! Your food is delicious! I enjoy it every time! I was just asking because I was curious!..............."
Kim Namwoon continued to babble about how good Cale's food is as Cale looks in an amused shock. He didn't know Kim Namwoon thought of his food that way. As Kim Namwoon continued babbling about his food, he couldn't help but think its cute.
" Haha, hahahahahahaha!"
Cale laughed out loud at that moment. He couldn't stand it. Kim Namwoon as well, looked shocked as he saw Cale laugh.
"Woah…."
It has been a week and a few days since I moved in here, but I've never seen Cale-nim laugh before. He always had either a stoic, tired or frowning face, never has he laughed. Kim Namwoon had a loving gaze as he felt his face heating up as he laughed along Cale.

In school, every time, the students of Cale's class were surprised to see Cale and Kim Namwoon get along so well. Students kept going up to Kim Namwoon to ask since when they were so close. Kim Namwoon would always just shrug it off, and, as always, Cale was clueless of this.
"Alright student, that's all for today."
Today, school ends early. I don't know the reason but, who cares? Ending early means I can get on the train too. Today is the start of the apocalypse after all.
"Cale-nim, how are we going back today?"
"By the train."
"Okkk. "
Cale-nim would always go home by different methods. Sometimes it'll be by train, taxi or walking. He'll never use the car he has. I wondered if it's cause he doesn't know how to drive, but he has a driver so it couldn't be that now can it? When I asked him why he just replied with,
"Just because."
I was kinda dumbfounded but meh whatever. I'll just listen to him.
"Namwoon-ah, hurry up, the door's about to close."
"Coming, Cale-nim!"
Today's the day, the start of the apocalypse. I personally didn't want to come to the train but the bastard GoD said I had to help them get a happy ending.
"Ha…"
"Cale-nim? You ok?"
"Yes, Namwoon, I'm fine."
Namwoon is such a good kid if you know him. Pity that he died in Kim Dokja's memories.
As Cale thought that, he patted Kim Namwoon's head which made Kim Namwoon blush.
"Woah…"
Today, like any other day, I'm taking the train back home. However, even with the beautiful Yoo Sangah seating beside me, I can't take my eyes off a beautiful redhead seating in front of me.
Pale porcelain skin, rosy red cheeks, long curly eyelashes, pink plump lips, shoulder length blood-red hair, and a slender body. He was the definition of beautiful!

The subway train shook loudly and let out a metallic sound. It caused Yoo Sangah to scream and hold onto my arm. Then I heard the sound of other people shouting.
I instinctively went to look at the beautiful redhead in front of me. When I saw him, he was completely calm, not bothered by anything at all. Then I noticed the person to his side, the beautiful redhead seemed to be calming down the white haired teen beside him. I felt discomfort when I saw that and subconsciously frowned.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard confused voices coming from everywhere.
"Uh, what?"
"W-What is this?"
Questions like that could be heard from all around the subway train. In the dark of the train, 2 smartphone lights turned on. I heard Yoo Sangah nervously ask at that moment.
"What is going on?"
"Don't worry. It isn't a big deal."
"Is that so?"
"Yes, it is probably a disturbance from a suicide. The engineer will soon make an announcement."
Just as I finished speaking, the engineer made an announcement.
-Telling all passengers on the train. Telling all passengers on the train.
The shouts of people slowly softened. I sighed in relief.
–E-Everyone run away… Run…!
'Huh?'
The broadcast turned off abruptly and the train soon became filled with panic.
"D-Dokja-ssi? What is this…?"
It was a coincidence when I saw the time at this moment. It was 7:00 p.m. Then I saw a screen pop up.

[The main scenario has started.]
'Huh, so it finally started.'
Cale glanced to the person in front of him as he thought that, he smirked.
'The main character of this novel, Kim Dokja, let's see your show now.'
