"How do you do there Agust? It's already been a month"


"Get to the point, Daniel"



Yoongi puts his phone on speakers and throws it onto the nightstand as he puts on his button-down long-sleeve shirt. He was readying to visit MiHo. It was his day off as it was the last day of the month.


"Get closer to that Park Jimin guy as much as you could. Win his trust like he would never trust anyone over you. I know you are capable of doing that"


"Why I would have to do that? What you gonna do to him?"
Yoongi turned off the speakers and took his phone closer to his ear sitting on the bed.


"Oh come on man, that's none of your business. Have I ever questioned you what you gonna do with the information I am going to give you in return, no right ?"


Yoongi pinched his nose bridge and continued to listen to what the other side had to say to him.


"Okay listen, as our promise I have already sent you the flash drive that has the information about the vehicle that took her that day. Hope you will work our agreement on your end too"


Yoongi felt how his whole body stiffens involuntarily with Daniel mentioned MiHo. That's the deal they had. Yoongi is supposed to stay closer to the Park family for five months and follow Daniel's orders and at the end of every month, he is supposed to get the part of information about what happened to MiHo that night.


The bodyguard finished the call with an irritated feeling. He fell on his back eyes closed and suck a sharp breath.


He was ready to kill or get killed to know about what happened to his girl and who did that to her. He was dying to bring the most painful death to those animals with his own hands and only hell knows what Yoongi has planned for them.



Once ago he promised in MiHo's name that he will never go back to his old self but what is the meaning behind him keeping the promise when this fucked up world decided to take the reason he wanna be a better version of himself away from him? Why do they have to cause his innocent girl such a tragic death? What wrong did she do?



Twenty-two-year-old Kang MinHo was a girl full of hope and spirit. Yoongi could still remember the day he met her. It wasn't the best way but still he was the one who saved her from the gang that was after his late father who used to work for Daniel.


When that nightmare happened they were just started their life together. Min Yoongi who never knew what is love, is introduced to totally a new set of feelings by Kang MiHo. For the first time since his birth, he is desperate to be a better person. He wanted to be a human, earn his living without staining his hands without blood, and take care of the girl who touched the soft spot of his stone heart with her innocence. His MiHo, she was the one who killed the beast inside him, she was the one who showed and made him believe there are many more beautiful feelings than hatred and revenge in this world. But now Yoongi felt all were lies.


Everything was ruined within three nights and once he acknowledged what truly happened their world fell apart. The very second he held his innocent girl's lifeless body in that cold hospital room Min Yoongi knew there was nothing called good in this world. He loses his faith in good and light.


His MiHo was gone. When he got her girl back after those long dark three days of missing she was no longer that innocent big doe-eyed girl who made him want to live a better life.


Yoongi almost didn't recognize MiHo's body.


The hours he sat in a cold hospital corridor in denial made sense because MiHo's body was half burned and all swollen. She had already been dead for two days when her corpse was found and except for the neckless around her neck Yoongi wouldn't still sit there in denial.


The autopsy report stated the cause of death as the strangling and further, it stated she has been raped before getting killed. According to the DNA test run by the autopsy, the report confirmed it wasn't also by one person but more than three.


Her death was a tragedy that the whole of Korea talked about for weeks but the government detectives or police weren't able to catch the culprits due to the lack of shreds of evidence. Her body was abandoned near the Han River and due to the lack of evidence the investigation was officially put on hold after six months.


That's when Yoongi decides to work out the things on his own. Ending the long days locking himself inside his home and being desperate in denial, Yoongi started hiring private detectives to pick up the things from where the government left them.


He did try his best but the results were the same. There were no traces or clues. Without having the government's affirmation they weren't even allowed to access the CCTV footage or left very little shreds of evidence. So in no time once again they have to give up.



That's when Daniel contacted Yoongi. First, he didn't believe or care what he had to say. But Daniel has shown him enough evidence to make him believe that he has what he wants. Yoongi knew how cunning the man was and how he never did anything for free. So unlike all the other times Daniel tried to contact him this time he decided to hear the things he had to say and that's how Yoongi ended up being the Park family's heir's bodyguard.

Jimin didn't know he had been staring at the older male who walked up to the kitchen way too long until their maiden Lee had to nudge his arm to have his attention.


"Sir, Agust informed me that he is going out"


"Oh---ahhh...yeah yeah. Bye bye then?"


Yoongi looked at Jimin who talked abruptly while hurriedly starting to stuff his mouth with machine speed. The younger was having his late Sunday brunch and the bodyguard could tell the brat had been sleeping until it's noon.


"Listen, I am going out and will be back before nine. You are not supposed to go out all by yourself and if you try, the gate guard will directly be informed to Mr. Do Hyung. So don't cause yourself trouble"


Jimin gave whatever look and started to dig in his food.

"Where are you going by the way"
I had never seen him dressed this well by the way why suddenly black looks so good. Is he going to see a girl? Probably. Did this asshole have a girlfriend? Gosh nope. Btw should I ask what is his haircare routine? His long hair looks dope though. Shit Sherlock did he notice I have checked on him.
