One hour....Two hours... Maybe three hours? A male in his mid twenties tries to calculate how long he might have ended up in this small room on this bed. This place couldn't be a hospital room for sure, his mind says, but indeed, this place is not a mere room in a private clinic. The reason is, inside the room, there was all kinds of medical equipment, just like a proper hospital room would.

Jimin, who opened his eyes half an hour ago, just tried to hold on to the cold iron bed frame as he felt an urge to sit up. His eyes busily moved around to see whether there was someone he knew.

Jimin slowly slowly tried to roll over to the other side. He expected to feel an unbearable pain, thinking it might cause him a lot of pain as he remembered he got shot on his back, but it didn't hurt as bad as he thought. The younger male lifts his head and straightens up his body only to bring a hand toward his bandaged back. This whole time, he has been lying on his sides. Probably someone has made him lay on his sides. Maybe that's why it hurts less, he guessed.

Jimin suck a deep breath and tried to look around, but turning his neck gave him a very hard time. All he felt was very stiffened and sore muscles, killing him at his slightest effort to change his position, telling him it is gonna be really hard to move around much on his own yet. The male gave up on his attempt and again slowly lay on the same position. His lips were chapped, and his mouth felt so dry, it brings an urge for him to drink a whole jar of water. However, a while ago, he realised raising his arm and reaching for anything was almost impossible as the IV needle connected to his hand too limits his movements other than his muscle pain.

The younger male stays like that for another few minutes, staring at the ceiling. Those empty eyes didn't show a single emotion, and it looked like the man had completely given up on struggling to catch and recall what might have happened to him.

The door of the room opened with a small creek before a key rattle heard from the outside. The person who walked in was someone he had never seen before.

"Oh! You are awaken?. How long has it been since you woke up? How do you feel, Jimin ?"

"Where am I?"

"My home, I would say."

"How many hours have I been sleeping here? Wait, where is Agust?"

"Easy easy...don't move your neck much kiddo. Talking about how long you slept, I might say it's not come in hours, Jimin. You have been literally lost consciousness for three days. You may not remember the time you woke up a few days ago. However, up until this very moment, you have stayed in between the sleep and unconsciousness for eight straight days, which you probably don't remember. Yeah... yeah... I know that's unbelievable.

"Agust is the one who took me here? Where is he?"

"Yeah....well, about Agust...he hasn't returned ever since he left you here. Only god knows where that mother fu*ker dissappear after dropping you here."

"Anyways, I am the one who treated you."
The middle-aged man said as he tear a plastic cover of a new syringe and took a droplet from a cupboard while walking closer to Jimin's bed.

"T-thanks for helping me, doctor."

"Haha, I am anything but what you just called me, kiddo. Definitely, I am not one of those. My name is Lee Jun Ho. Just call me Jun Ho."

Jimin wasn't in a position to question a thing. He just nodded his head while watching how the middle-aged man injected something to his IV after changing the empty packet to a new one.

"So, Mr. Jimin, what is the deal you have with your life? To see how much luck is left in your account ? I can tell you are fully aware of the condition you are in, aren't you?"
