Seeing a dying person always makes heart feel heavy. Even if that person was a stranger, it still makes the heart feel heavy and some kind of a tightness deep inside. When it's someone we know for a lifetime and we love, it becomes unimaginably painful and hard. But how will it feel when it is about you? You will never know how to feel about it, will you? Fear, pain, misery, and hopelessness, of course, were the feelings that people expected to struggle with.
But it's not the same for everyone. People feel those feelings when there's a hope for them to live. When they have loved ones to miss them. When there are dreams to live and wishes to fulfil. But! When none of those feelings are present, every breath, inhale, and exhale feels like a burden to carry around. In such circumstances, the feeling you are dying brings a relief. An unexplainable peaceful feeling. Maybe that's what Jimin's feeling right now.
The male who was observing his own reflection in the mirror with empty eyes brings his hands to his cheeks. He can feel his cheekbones. That realisation brings a smile to his lips that never defined any of his inner feelings. He let a deep, tired sigh out as he held the sink edge and checked his face.
He started to get flashbacks of what doctors said to him when they were explaining his condition to him on the day his test results came out. He was at stage one when he was diagnosed with the condition called acute myeloid leukaemia. However, the checkup he recently took revealed that his condition was rapidly deteriorating. Doctors have explained how his condition tends to worsen faster compared to other patients who had the same illness due to a unique genetic reason.
Jimin is well aware of how he is experiencing more severe symptoms lately than in the first few months, but still, other than swallowing the pills that only work out at the first stage, he is still ignoring getting proper treatments.
The male sighed and splashed a few droplets of water on his face before walking out of the bathroom. It's been around five hours since he came to his brother's place. Now he is getting ready to go and see his grandfather but is slowly getting bad feelings about it as it's taking more time than he expected.

"How are you, father?"
Min Sun Min asked as he sat by his father's bed. The man who was on his deathbed opened his eyes, but his eyes said he was looking for someone else.
"Jimin--?"
"Aigooo, can't you see that your younger son is here to see you, Father?"
Sun Min, uttered almost in a sarcastic way, as Kyoung Ho immediately walked closer to their father's bed.
"I asked him not to come, Father. We can't risk his life, can we?"
The old man looked at his elder son for a few seconds as his younger son also walked up to him.
"Father, I want you to sign these papers. I want the ownership of the business that I took care of all my life."
"Sun Min-ah—you know the rule! You don't have a son to run it down if you die. S-so it also goes for Jimin. Your nephew."
Those words came out so weakly, but the stern authority was all over it. Like, those are the final decisions, and nothing could change it."
"What if I told you I, too, have my own blood?"
"Min Sun Min!"
It was the older brother, Kyoung Ho.
"What is it, hyung? You know I have a son of the same age as yours. You were the first one to know, and you pretended that you were helping me for many years. But you were just a cunning, greedy man!. I trusted them with you, but you haven't done anything you promised me!. My woman and son have been slaves to this mansion all their lives, but I tolerate it because that's the only way that I can keep him alive. But finally, you broke the promise, man! You try to get rid of them!."
