New Scar

We are currently walking through the base. I am getting many stares from every T-Doll we pass as to them all they see is a lumbering man bigger than them all who is currently giving one of the more eccentric Dolls a piggyback ride. I don't mind tho, Sop is just too precious.

"I'm surprised you took a liking to Soppmod. People avoid her but it's a good thing someone's willingly gotten close to her. I trust you to take care of her Kaiser." Persica said with a glare.

"Why would anyone avoid this adorable one?" Upon hearing this she hugged my neck "See? Cute as all can be!"

Kryuger looks at me "You know? I never took you for the fatherly type Kaiser. I must say your brawn doesn't give the impression of brain. No offense meant."

"Ah none taken. That's the point, people underestimate the 'old doctor' and think I'm just a weak man. Quite the opposite, I can punch a hole in 4" steel easily."

They looked at me stunned, as if wondering how I can say this so casually. Even Sop looks at me like I'm crazy.

"What? Was it something I said?"

"Yes it was, Kaiser. Your telling us you can imbed your hand into reinforced metal? With no problems?"

"Well yea! My regeneration would kick in immediately and I would begin to repair my hand."

Kryuger went back to contemplating my existence with a confused face. I told Sop I needed to let her down much to her dismay... I did promise I'd carry her later, and with that she skipped away happier than ever.

Soon we walk towards a factory, I see Helian starts to tap away at a tablet and starts to talk

"Here is the Doll Factory of the base. Here we produce Dummies and repair damaged dolls."

I notice out the corner of my eye something goes wrong in the factory, seems something went haywire. I tried to speak but before I knew it a small explosion rocked the floor. I see it, something heading for Persica...

I managed to push her away before being blasted by debris and fire into the wall.

I'm easily a good foot into the concrete. My bones start rearranging themselves and it HURTS. I can hear the others start calling for the medical team. The fire suppression system kicks in... oh this is gonna hurt...

"Quick! Medical team get down here NOW! Someone check on Kaiser make sure he-"

I abruptly stand from the wall, half my face and torso missing. Here they see my flesh sew together. Here they are seeing my sinew wire itself back into place. My skull slowly being covered by flesh.

"I- I'm fine! Fuckin hurtin, forgive my language, but I'm alive!"

With my one good eye I can see Kryuger looking in disbelief, Helian and Persica had looked away from me because most of my flesh is burned off and my ribs are open to the world.

Soon the medical team runs in, but what they see is a half dead corpse talking and walking and breathing. One of them pulls a pistol and screams

"GET DOWN NOW!"

I raise my one good arm and try to speak, Kryuger yells at them to stand down I'm not the enemy but one of the medics nerves got too much and he shot.

Got shot in the head by a .44... this don't feel nice.. I'm recoiled back into my hole hearing Kryuger scream in rage at them. They don't notice me climbing out the hole a second time, I slowly walk my way to the medic who fired. They all look at me in even more disbelief, the man I'm walking towards backs up instinctively.

I grab his revolver and disassemble it rather quickly then say.

"Son, you are going back to firearm training. Now I do not fault you for this as I'm not something your ever gonna see again but you need to keep your nerves in check." He simply nods.

My face is back to normal, the flesh on my torso has sewed up and my skin is regrowing.

"So... any of you got any Tylenol? I've got a killer headache..."

It's been about an hour since the incident and right now I'm being interrogated by Kryuger and a few of the AR team. Seems video records got out of me being exploded and shot and still being alive.

"Kaiser. I would love to know what the hell happened to you? You were a walking corpse! I could see your flesh off your bones!" Persica yelled

"Ow- for one quiet down my hearing is around 6 times more powerful than yours and screaming hurts. And two: I did say I have regeneration. It would take atomizing me for me to die fully."

Sop, much to my dismay hasn't stopped latching onto my arm.

"Any particular reason why your latched onto my arm Soppo?"

"Shikikan nearly died. I do not want you dead. I would he sad if you were gone... you treat me normally..." I just hug her and reassure her I'm not gonna die. I turn to M4 next.

"Ok with her explained any reason why your here M4?"

"More or less same reason as Sopmod said you nearly died. I had to make sure your safe after all we are your shadow."

I chuckle at her answer "Well good to know you care that much M4. I'm touched! Now I would like to be out of the infirmary as I'm fully healed already and would like to get to my duties as Commander of this base. Oh and someone kindly get me some tea or something please? I'm parched after that and I need to regain energy after that much damage repair."

M4 nods and goes to get me a drink, Persica is looking at me... I'm scared now...

"Kaiser. I would like to kindly remind you not to put yourself in such danger in the future. I am thankful you protected me don't get me wrong but we don't need a heart attack every time you get hurt." I can't help but swallow the lump in my throat...

"Yes ma'am, I am sorry..." god she reminds me of my Mutter... why are all the women in my life TERRIFYING?

She walks away and Kryuger goes to follow, Sop turns to me

"Kaiser? You will be our shikikan for a while yes? I do not want to see you replaced... your nicer than the last ones... even M4 likes you! She just doesn't show it very well... I'm glad your ok."

"Now how can I just leave such an adorable girl such as yourself hmm? I promise long as I'm here I'll keep you girls safe from any bad commanders. Now let's get going, don't want to get backed up on work, oh and before I go-" I hand her a lollipop. She looks like a kid in a candy store.

M4 finally comes back with a bottle of water. I down it in a few drinks to the surprise of her.

"Thank you very much M4, now let's go. I have work to do." I say as I just pick up Sop, she works her way into another piggyback. M4 just smiles at the sight, heh so you can show more emotion.
