Not a damn mechanic! Of course.. I do have a few thousand years of mechanical experience.. but still! Sigh I don't mind though, Agent was in need of repair and the time I spent yesterday relaxing gave us enough time to get the parts ordered.
"Auntie! Bring her power on slowly please." With the extent of her power cores damage he didn't want to risk her overloading, the AI responded after a second of silence "Right away sir. She should be booting up visual processes in a few moments."
A few seconds before her eyes opened, I could see her scanning her surroundings before landing right on me "Welcome back Agent. Sorry it took so long we didn't get the parts yesterday. How do you feel?"
She took a second to respond "Like... I was dismantled..." tapping away at my PDA I couldn't help but chuckle "Heh it seemed like it. It's good to see you up and about Agent. As of now you are under my Command. You will follow my orders and no one else's unless stated by me otherwise- now with that jargon out of the way you have some visitors."
On cue the doors opened showing Scarecrow and Destroyer. Both thrilled to see their comrade safe again.
"Agent!" Scarecrow squealed as she hugged the newly repaired doll "We thought you were toast! We both are happy to see you!"
Again they had their reunion as he smiled. Truly they reminded him of the little ones on the Lamdship... so innocent yet... so grown at the same time.
He sighed and stood up from the stool stretching "I'll let you gals-" he was cut off as his PDA flashed red indicating he had an emergency call "Sorry kiddos I've got to take this. Crow I trust you'd walk Agent through the procedure."
She nodded as he left.
Communications Office, minutes later.
What voice came from the screen angered him so damn much, her distorted voice like chalk "I told you, Kaiser, you'd be giving those dolls up one way or another!"
"Oh yea?" He taunted "And how the hell do you think I'm doing that?" His anger turned to worry then unbridled rage as the screens blared red denoting an immediate security breach and with her voice now completely distorted in anger she taunted right back

Cutting the connection he immediately turned on the intercom "ATTENTION THE BASE IS ON RED ALERT WE ARE UNDER ATTACK- ALL DOLLS ARE TO RETREAT TO THE FOURTH FLOOR BUNKER! THIS IS NOT A DRILL AND THIS IS NOT AN ORDER YOU CAN DISOBEY!"
The alarms blared as every Doll on station scrambled to follow his order. All except... M4 and his security team..
"Told you gals to get to the damn bunker!" He screamed at he ran to the armory, M4 speaking for them all "With all due respect: fuck that! Sir I am the leader of your Shadow and Scarecrow your security team, if you think for a second we are letting you-"
He stopped her as they entered the armory "Ha I get it, so lock and load ladies! I took the liberty of modifying all our weapons!"
M4 look at her rifle and noticed.. the rounds were deleted uranium core.. they weren't messing around...
Scarecrow, Agent, and Destroyer looked at their own weapons seeing how now they had an unknown substance as their payloads.
"Sir... what are we going to be fighting.."
His face showed immense struggle, as if he didn't have the strength nor courage to say the words he needed, and in lieu of his falter Auntie stepped up.
She contacted them remotely and broadcasted a message to their cores...
"Briggs. And she's brought an army to take you from us."
Sighing deeply he grabbed a weapon "And I won't let her take you 3. I told her once I wouldn't. She didn't listen, and now you gals are gonna see why my nickname was Butcher."
Sometime before...
"Auntie... put a failsafe... make sure them four get cut from the top floor."
"Why sir?"
"Because.. I know she's gonna hurt them. And I'm not losing another family again! Soon as I'm in the elevator shut them out let me go up... I'll face this bitch on my own."
"But sir you-"
"Override code: Delta Tango 44-56-12... I'm sorry Auntie..."
"Override accepted- Kaiser..."
"Goodbye for now."

They ran as fast as possible to the freight elevator leading to the top section of the base. But as they rounded the corner all 4 Dolls read a message on their hud... "Forgive me..." and just like that they were incapacitated as he entered the elevator without them.

The doors closed with a thud. And M4 ran to it screaming "COMMANDER! What are you doing?!" He hated hearing her voice sound so hurt... "What a commander should do. Take the lead while his people survive."
Scarecrow came next and it broke his heart even more "KAISER PLEASE LET US HELP!" She tries so desperately to override the elevator to no avail.. his eyes showed regret and guilt as they locked with hers "I am sorry.... Keep the others safe."
But there never seems to be enough time

The elevator started its ascent. The ascent into what could very well be hell. He checked his weapon... an M249 machine gun with 5 extra box mags at 200 rounds each... a sidearm of a Spas-12 and an extra 24 rounds.. and finally a trusty Desert Eagle with 6 magazines..
If I had a box just for wishes

Upon reaching the top, he loaded his machine gun and proceeded to march. The alarms blaring in his ears and giving him a migraine...but that wasn't the worrying part, no... it was the lack of other sound. No humming of machines or the air conditioning or anything..
