Nobody from the studio had heard from Izuku since the wedding. It had already been two weeks and there hadn't been any calls or texts from him, nor had he shown up to work.
Katsuki attempted to reach out to him but he didn't have any luck either. There were many times he wanted to leave and rush over to Izuku's apartment, but he was advised not to by Ashido.
"Why the fuck not!? What if there's something seriously wrong with him!? He could be hurt or worse!" Katsuki would argue.
"I already told you that Ochaco was able to contact him and check on him. He's okay, he's just not doing we right now to come into work. It's okay. I know you're worried about him not talking to you and all but you still have a job to do. You can't be running off all the time."
"But this is my fault, Ash. I don't know what exactly, but whatever is going on with him right now, I know it's because of me. I want to be able to make it up to him and I can't do it if I can't ever see him!"
"It's sweet to hear you care about someone, but right now, I just need you to focus on this album. Aizawa has you guys on a deadline and it needs to be published by the release date we promised your fans. Izuku is very important, I understand, but when you're in this line of business, you have to make sacrifices, Katsuki." Ashido turned away from him, tightening her grip on her clipboard, "Now, let's get to the studio."
Katsuki squinted his eyes, not appreciating the answer he got, but while he'd usually argue with it, this time he couldn't, since even if he wanted to speak to Izuku, it's not like he really could. While he wanted to visit him at his apartment and apologize, it felt wrong to say sorry when not know exactly what he did wrong, as well as showing up uninvited. If Izuku was ignoring him, it probably meant he wanted nothing to do with him right now. He just wished he knew why.
After a few days, he saw a figure in the break room when he arrived at work in the morning, making his heart skip a beat, only to find someone else in Izuku's seat when he ran into the room.
"Oh, you're Katsuki Bakugo! You're just as handsome in person as you are in your pictures!" The person complimented.
Katsuki backed out of the room and stormed into the studio, finding Ashido and grabbing her by the shoulder to get her attention, "Who the hell is that out in the break room!?"
"Huh!? Oh, you mean our temporary photographer?"
"You're replacing Izuku!?"
"Of course not! I could never replace him! What do you think I meant when I said 'temporary'? He's just here until Izuku is ready to come back. I know you only like Izuku taking your photos but the show has to go on! We need a photographer! Stop being difficult!"
"Tsk, I ain't working with a damn amateur. I'm out of here." Katsuki released Ashido and headed for the exit door.
"Hey, you can't leave! We have photos and songs that need to be done tonight! Katsuki! Katsuki!" Ashido tried to call out to him but the blonde wanted no part of it.
Ever since Izuku's absence, the studio hadn't been the same. Katsuki hadn't been cooperating with anyone in the band or on the crew. How could he? Everyone was acting like everything was fine when it clearly wasn't. It made him sick to his stomach.
