It was just another boring and lonely ass fucking day for Tommy. Sure, he had the Dream Team and Tubbo and Ranboo to keep him company. But it never felt the same as it would've if they were them. And they all knew it too.

Today was the day that Tommy had finally snapped.

He was sitting outside on the white quartz steps of the Team's temple while somewhat watching George chasing after Sapnap to try to get his mushroom hat and cloud glasses back, complaining that the sun was burning him alive.

Dream was beside Tommy and laughing as he yelled for Sapnap to run faster. He looked down to Tommy and saw how he was almost fully zoned out with his chin resting on a hand and his smile fell. "Hey, Tommy. You alright?" He asked while sitting down beside the young god.

"... yeah." Tommy muttered. "I just... I really miss them and want them to come back."

"... I get it... you haven't seen them in a while." Dream's face showed a bit of pity towards him, but it also hardened a bit. "But you know that's quite selfish of you, right?"

Tommy blinks and looks up at Dream in confusion. "Huh? Wha-what do you mean? Where the fuck did that come from?"

"Well, it's annoying how practically every time we're hanging out, you're over here wallowing because of their absence. You're here with us and we're practically your family. But you're being ungrateful and wanting your old family back while you're on our grounds, hanging out with us, and having us taking care of you." Dream says with a stone hard look.

Tommy is in utter shock by his words, "What, I never even wanted you guys to take care of me! I would've picked Sam, Niki, or Puffy over you! And you expect me to not wish my family were here?! I haven't seen them in over a fucking century!" Tommy questions.

"Tommy, it's not like they're dead." Dream says, ignoring the first bit of his sentence. Tommy didn't get a choice with who would take care of him because XD wanted to choose for him. And out of everyone, he put him into Dream's care. Dream was honestly at the bottom of Tommy's list because he always had an uneasy feeling with him.

"You don't know that! For all we know I could be an orphan!" Tommy exclaimed, really not in the mood for this shit right now. Seeing George and Sapnap reminded him of when Wilbur would chase Techno for taking Tommy away, all the while Techno was running with a young Tommy in his arms while laughing and holding him close.

"Well you're not. And even if they were dead, you still have us. You still have me." Dream informs him while putting a hand over his heart to show that he cares for him, Tommy didn't buy it.

Tommy rolls his eyes. "Yeah, I get it. But I still miss them and want them to come back..."

Dream looks at Tommy and hums a bit as he glances back at George and Sapnap, seemingly thinking of something.

Tommy sits up straight. "Fuck it. I'm tired of this." He stood up and jumped off the steps, his wings fluffing up a bit.

"Where are you going?" Dream asks, watching Tommy go and stands up himself in case he has to go after the young god.

"None of your fucking business." Tommy says. He didn't know why Dream had always ticked him off. Because in reality, it looked like he was just being kind and looking out for him like an older brother would, even though at times it was obvious he was lying to him. But there was something about him that just struck a nerve whenever he talked about Tommy's family.

He stormed off to a forestry area where his home was. It was cozy there. Phil and Techno had built four cabins for each of them, making sure to enchant them so they last. It was like a little village on their land.
