* Chloe's POV * 

Today I knew that my plan had to go into action.

Last night, I called Gino and told him everything. It was a little iffy about the plan at first but then agreed. He explained that he still has feelings for her, even after all of the things she put him through. I really think that Maddie could be a good person on the inside then the side she shows everyone else. I just really hope that Josh doesn't fall for her, like I'm falling for him. 

 Once I walk into school I could already spot Gino from across the hallway. He looked as nervous as I was. I wasn't really the scheming type so this was a whole new atmosphere. I didn't know what to expect when we pulled off our plan or if I would feel guilty in the end, but all I knew was that I had to do it and if I didn't I would regret not trying to get Josh. 

 "Are you ready?" I asked him as we pulled our selves to one side of the hallway.

 "Yeah, ready as I will ever be," He replied. 

"When will Maddie and Josh be here?" 

 "Any moment now," I said. 

 The first bell was about to ring and Josh and Maddie were no where in site. We were about to walk away when we saw them walking down the hallway with their hands intertwined. It made me so mad to see them together. I could just pop any moment. 

"Alright you ready to do this?" I asked him.

 "Ready," Gino replied.

 Right when they were about to walk past us, I started the plan. Without caution, I just leaned in and kissed Gino. I leaned in more and more and then backed away. 

 The shock on Maddie and Josh's faces were priceless.

Maddie immediately backed away in horror and turned around and left. Josh just stood there looking like a deer in head lights. Honestly, I didn't expect this reaction from him, like, at all. I thought he would have been happy that I have moved on with Gino, but obviously I was wrong.

 "Excuse me, I think I have to go," Josh says and then started to walk away. 

 I knew I should have ran after him, but I didn't. I was too horrified with myself. If I knew that it would have hit him like this than I wouldn't have done it, but the damage is already done.

But then again he did go out with my worst enemy. Just like I was reckless with his feelings, he was reckless with mine.

At this point I don't know either to be happy that the plan worked, or be upset that I just upset Josh. 

Right now I just need to go find him.

 After about an hour of searching the halls and two missing classes, I have decided to officially give up. He is nowhere to be found. I looked everywhere, and there is still no site of him.

 Since I didn't have any important classes today and the teacher already marked me absent, I decided to take the day off.

I grabbed my backpack from my locker and walked outside to the parking lot.

 I was about to take out my keys when I catch Josh by his car. I immediately run straight for his car without a thought.

Once I get into close perimeter, I catch my breath before approaching him. 

 "Hey Josh," I say quietly. I was nervous/excited all at the same time. I had no idea how he was going to react to presence. 

 "Chloe, what do you want?" He said with arrogance and anger in his voice. I've never really seen this side of him before and I never wanted to.

 "Look Josh about earlier," I start to explain but then get cut off. 

"What about earlier?" He questioned. 

 "The Gino thing. I know that it effected both of you, and I'm sorry that you had to find out this way," I explained. 

 "Yeah you should be," He retorted back. 

 "Look I don't know what is wrong with you, okay. Remember when you dropped the whole entire Maddie bomb on me. Remember how that made me feel. Remember how I was shattered. Remember how I couldn't bare to see the two of you." I confess with tears rolling down my cheeks. I can't stand to see him.

 "Chloe look I'm sorry," 

 "No your not," I yell. "Just leave me a lone." I turned my head and never looked back.
