* Chloe's POV *

Finally Friday has come, everyone's favorite day of the week.

The school bell had just rung, signaling that all the classes are done for the day, and we can finally be released from this jail.

I walk to my locker to grab my things when I see Gino in the hallway. I feel kind of bad about how everything went down. Even after her and Josh broke up he and Maddie still didn't get back together.

"Hey, Gino wait up," I say while stuffing my books and homework into my backpack. I shut my locker and twisted the lock into place so I knew it was secure. I raced down the hallway and caught up to him.

"Oh, hey Chloe," he said.

"Listen I feel really back how everything went down between me, Josh, Maddie, and you. I just really wish to that Maddie went back to you," I explained with sympathy. I really did feel bad for the guy.

"It's okay Chloe. It's not your fault. I knew that, when getting into this mess, that things wouldn't work out between me and Maddie and that's okay. I'll get through it, I just wish that she would come to her senses and see how much better I am to her than those other jocks," he responded. He just looked so sad and rejected.

"Well I really do wish that I could do something," I said defeated.

"Me too," he said with disappointment in his voice.

Then something popped into my head.

"Hey why won't you come to Josh's party tonight," I suggest. Sure it wasn't my party but I knew that Josh would be okay with Gino being there.

"Umm. . . Only if it's okay with Josh," he responds. His mood sounded brighter and happier than before.

"Yeah he'll be fine with it. Plus it's going to be tons of fun," I say with a smile. It's true, Josh always throws a good party.

"Okay I'll come by around 8:30."

"Sure, I'll see ya there." I said while walking to my car and hurrying home to get ready for the party.

It was around 5 o'clock when I showed up at the Hyland's house for the party. It didn't start till 6:30 but I decided to go early so I could see Josh before the party started.

When I came to the door, I could already see that Paige and Brooke have set some stuff up. I knocked on the door Josh was already immediately there with a huge smile on his face. I could tell that he was excited since he has been planning for this all week.

"Hey chlo," he said while opening up the door.

I went in to give him a hug and then kissed him on the lips.

"Hey. Are you excited party?" I asked already knowing the answer. Josh hasn't had a party since he's been home from boarding school, so I could see, from his facial expressions, that he was getting anxious to make a big impression for the people at the party.

"Of course," he said jokily.

"Okay just making sure," I said jokily. "Oh and I invited Gino, if that's okay with you. I just feel really bad about what happened between the four of us and I thought he just needed to go to a party to cheer him up." I confess.

"Umm. . . Yeah that's fine," Josh said like he had something on his mind.

"Okay good because I didn't want you to get mad-" I try to say but then get cut off.

"Yeah, Chloe don't worry about it. I understand you always have to do the right thing and that's what I love about you," he said and then kissed me on the cheek.

Did he really just say love. On the outside I may have looked fine but on the outside I was awestruck.

"Chlo, are you okay," he said while waving a hand in front of face, like he did the first time I talked to him the day he got back.

"Yeah I'm fine but it's just the first time you used mentioned "me" and "love" in the same sentence," I respond.

"Well I know it's a little early in our relationship, but I do love you Chloe," he confessed.

"Well good because I love you too," I say back and then kiss him on the lips.

How could I be so lucky?

So first off, thank you so much for getting my book to over 1,000+ reads!! You guys are amazing!!

Also I am currently driving to Florida for vacation so sorry if this chapter wasn't that good.

Lastly, I don't know if I can update that much, this week, because I am currently on vacation and I just want to enjoy it:)

But I will be back to normal schedule next week so YAY!!
