Chapter 4

Jackson's POV

       "WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE IS LEAVING IN A WEEK!!!" I yelled at my beta, Ben. "Her mom told me this morning! She told me to come get you, to try and try to stop her from leaving." Ben tells me. "Why does she think she will listen to me?" I tell him in a dead tone, it wasn't me though. It was Venom talking, thank the gods. "You're her mate. She thinks you could talk her out of it or at least talk her into coming back." Ben tells me, scared out of his mind by Venom. The whole pack is scared of the damn wolf.

       "Fine, I'll try." I say as I stand up. "But I can't promise I can do anything about this." I tell him. "You will get her to at least come back, or I will make you drown yourself in the lake." I hear Venom tell me in a dark tone, goddess he scares me sometimes. I leave my office and head to the little cottage next to the pack house that Tiana lives in and knock on the door. Goddess, I hope this works, I think to myself. "It better" Venom snarls at me. "Alpha Jackson!" I hear Paris say. "I'm glad you're here! She is in her room. You remember where it is I trust?" She tells me as she lets me inside. "Yes, I do." I tell her as I go upstairs, and I stop at Tiana's bedroom door. Here goes nothing, I think to myself as I knock on the door.

Chapter 5

Tiana's POV

       I smell him. I smell him through the door, yet I open it anyway. "Alpha." I tell him. "You can call me Jackson, Tiana." He tells me as I let him in, or more so he let himself in. "Okay, Jackson. Why are you here?" I say as I fight the urge to kiss him here and now. "I um... Wanted to talk to you about something. About you going to school." He tells me. "You want to stop me from going too?" I as him in almost a snarl and my wolf winces.

       "No! No... I just want to ask you if you were coming back..." He says as he grabs my hand and I feel the sparks explode as my wolf howls with joy. "I wasn't planning on it, no." I tell him in the coldest tone I can manage while looking at him. "Tiana, please... Please come back. Please don't kill me like that." He pleads to me, he is... Crying. This, this is my Jackson. "Jackson, I..." I struggle to even get the words out. "Tiana, please..." He rests his head on mine, his scent Dark chocolate and pine fills my lungs. "I'll come back." I say to him closing my eyes. "I promise" That wasn't me, Persephony made that promise. Can I go back? "You will come back" she tells me. "We need him."

Chapter 6

Jackson's POV

       Tiana leaves for school today... As much as I don't want her to go, I'm going to let her. It's what she wants to do, and I have no right to stop it. She is a good person, and she promised she would come back. "No. Persephony promised ME that she would come back. Remember that." I hear Venom whisper to me in a tone that is a little to cheerful. That damn wolf, giddier about this then I am. I know why though; she kissed us this morning. It was small and just on the cheek, but she did. I never thought I would hear Venom howl like that ever again.

       It was nice hearing him that happy again. It makes me happy that he is happy. It makes me happy that my future luna is happy. I never changed, and I'm happy that she sees that now. I'm happy again, and I honestly forgot how that feels to be happy. I want her to be happy, well I also want her to kiss me again. That's not the point! "She will kiss us when she is ready Jackson." Venom tells me. "Yeah, yeah I know." I tell him, but then I feel a poke. A poke in the back of my mind, and I slip into another place. "Jackson! Are you going to come see me off?" I hear the beautiful voice of my luna, Tiana, ask me. "Yes, I'm coming doll!" I say to her right before I snap out of it and rush out of my office to see her off to school.
