Chapter 13

Tiana's POV

       "Thank you doctor" I say to the pack doctor, Tina. "It's no problem luna.", she says with a smile and walks off. Luna, the word rings in my ears as I leave the room and back into the sun. We can't stay, I think to myself as I walk to my small home to say goodbye to my mother. "Tiana!" I her a voice that is all too familiar, Jace Jr, Jackson's younger brother by 2 years. I turn to him and smile "Yes Jace?" I ask him.

       "You can't leave..." he says catching his breath. "Jackson is miserable without you, and so is the pack. Just, give him a chance he is still the Jackson you know and love. Please?" He looks at me as the please comes out as a question. "I, I don't know Jace" I tell him, he looks just like his father, as I look at the ground. "I don't think-" I start to say when he cuts me off. "Just come see please!" He's begging me at this point, and I agree. He takes me to the pack house but not before he covers my scent up. He leads me up to Jackson's office and looks at me. "Just listen to him..." I press my ear up to the door and listen to him and luna stella talking.

Chapter 14

Jackson's POV

       "I can't let her leave again mom! I'm nothing, NOTHING without her!" I say to my mom, unable to control the tears. "I'm not the alpha they need to be without her... I'm nothing without my luna mama..." My mom's eyes widen at me calling her mama again after all these years and she hugs me tightly.

       "You know, I didn't want to be with your father at first" I look up at her with those words. "I wasn't from this pack; I was from a smaller pack. I didn't want to leave my little home in the plains, but I did. Why? Because your father showed me, he wasn't the man everyone said he was." she tells me as she plays with my hair.

        "How do I do that mama; I don't even know how NOT to be the person that people thought dad was" I say to her looking at the floor. "Be the man YOU know you are. Not who they want you to be." she says as she holds my face. "Okay?" she asks. "Okay..." I tell her. We sat there for what seemed like forever, just me and my mother.

Chapter 15

Tiana's POV

       I look at Jace with tears in my eyes "Jace I, I just don't know." I whisper. Jace kneels down next to me, as I have knelt on the floor. "Tiana, please... He needs you. Tiana, your mom needs you. The pack needs you." he says as he puts his hand on my shoulder. "Just... Give us a moment alright?" Jace nods to me and he walks off.

       I stand up and I open the door a little. "Jackson?", is all I have to say, and he is off the floor faster than I have ever seen along with luna Stella. She nods to him and leaves us alone. "Jackson I-", I hardly get the words out when he pulls me into a tight hug, and I can fell the hot tears drop on my neck.

       "Please, please don't leave again... Please, I need you." he says between breaths, and I wrap my arms tightly around him. "I'm not leaving for a good while Jackson. But you have to tell me what happened exactly on that day." he looks at me and nods pulling me all the way into his office and shutting the door.

       Jackson and Tiana sat and talked about that day, and other things for several hours. It was almost nightfall when Tiana and Jackson noticed what time it was. They couldn't help but giggle at each other.
