eris found herself walking back down the jungle, after her wound had healed up greatly. the teen tries not to stay off guard, as she walks, knowing that anything or anyone could come out. the young teen soon hears noises nearby.
"not your problem, not your business" eris whispered under her breath.
as she continued to walk down, but for some reason her heart was telling her to go see what the issue was while her brain was telling her to not be so stupid.
eris felt her fist clenching up tightly before she groaned in annoyance and marched in the direction of the screams, swinging her sword from side to side, before coming face to face of what was the issue.
a gasp escaped the young teen's mouth as she saw finnick, katniss and peeta fighting off what looked like mutt monkeys. the teen wasn't sure if she should step in before one of the monkeys noticed her and lunged towards her.
"ah!" eris screams, using her knife to stab the monkey just like how she killed germino gladys in her first hunger games.
eris soon stepped in, helping the star-crossed lovers and finnick with the monkeys before she noticed them running off in another direction, away from the monkeys. eris kept swinging and stabbing monkeys left to right.
eris hissed as she felt her wound bleeding again, possibly from the monkeys just like the beast.
"eris!" finnick calls out to her "what are you doing here?"
his back was against hers as they tried to fight off the monkeys
"helping your sorry asses!" eris shares
"you? helping? i'm shocked"
"shut up" eris snapped
they kept going at it with the monkeys before a scream caught their attention. eris and finnick look over to see a district 6 female tribute, they weren't sure what had just happened but she was bleeding and peeta shouted something about helping her.
eris watches as peeta and katniss take her towards the water; having eris and finnick follow them, still fighting off the monkeys. however, once they reached the beach, the monkeys didn't come any closer and stood where they were. growling at them.
"i don't think they're too happy about us"
"shut up" eris hissed
when eris turn to the star-crossed lovers and the district 6 tribute, she sees peeta telling the tribute to look up at the sky and not worry about anything else.
a few seconds had passed before a cannon was shot, indicating that she had passed away. soon the hovercraft/plane arrived to take the body away.
eris shields her eyes as the wind picks up, causing the sand to go upward and around; eris clearly didn't want sand in her eyes.
