I'm heavily regretting this. Jace is looking at me, pleased as ever.
I wanna die.
"Well? Go ahead. Woo me with your words. "
I squeeze my eyes shut, and I take a deep breath.
"Take your time."
"HUSH,"
I say, clenching my fits.
After a few minutes, I slowly unclech my eyes, fists, and cheeks. Exhaling.
"Okay," I start. "I am in love with you," that's a strong start.
"And I know that love is just a shout unto the void, and that one day all....of...laaaa"
I look up to see Jace staring at me intently, and I freeze.
"I'm not reading the rest of this."
"WHAT??? IT WAS GETTING GOOD! WHAT MOVIE IS THAT FROM?"
"Umm..."The Fault in Our Stars.""
"You can watch the movie and finish it then, but I'm certainly not."
I huff and stick my nose up to him. I feel a tug at my arm, and I fall to the floor.
"Ugh."
"Pleeeaaaase?? Please, please, please?"
"Finish ittttt"
"No."
"PLEASE?"
"Mmmmmmm, "
I pretend like I'm thinking
"No."
He gives me a pouty look, and I slowly come to my senses.
He's....on top of me. I flush up a bit.
"ge- er- ugh."
I can't come out with it.
"Awwwwww, you're getting fluster-"
"JASON, MATTHEW. DINNERS READY!"
"COMING MA!"
"Let's go, Matt."
My body shivers slightly.
"That was weird, " I murmur.
I follow behind Jace, getting ready for dinner.
"Excited for the Meatloaf? You'll see. It truly is the bees' knees."
"We'll see."
I reply smugly.
