Haha this dissappears for months is just gunna keep happening 😈 till we get to the fun part im back tho! Hiiiiiii 😋😋😋

We talked and played games until the wee hours of the morning till we fell asleep

When I woke up, I ate breakfast with the Clarks, told Jace and his mom my goodbyes, and we parted ways

When I left, I found myself on a familiar street

A street that filled me with dread

On that street, I hear a familiar screaming

But this time, I stood in place

Frozen by fear

But somehow, I still found myself getting closer to the screaming

That or the screaming was just getting louder

It didn't take me long to find out that it was both

I found myself in front of the alleyway way

The woman calling out to me

Screaming for my help

Her words overlapping each other

I was starting to feel dizzy

The man who was holding her then jumped at me

Shaking me violently

Screaming

They were both screaming at me

Wake up.

Wake up!

WAKE UP!

I woke up with arms gripping my shoulders

Well, actually, more gingerly than I thought they were

It took a while for my eyes to adjust to the darkness, but I could barely make out some facial features

With some thought and some light feeling around I decided that the person who was straddling me was Jace

But just to make sure, I called out his name

"Jace?.....is that you?"

A whispered yell answered me in an annoyed voice

"Who the hell else would it be? What are you on tonight???"

My face turned a bit sour

But I was more confused than anything

"What are you talking about?"

There was a slight pause, but the response was so long and delivered so quickly that my brain could barely process it

"You were just whining and flailing around you wack job! You can't say you weren't just having some wicked nightmare just now."

I took me a long time to respond

But an even longer time to process since I was still half asleep despite the adrenaline from the dream I just had

"Uhhh.....oh yeah I

Yeah I just had a really bad dream"

I signed a bit and attempted to turn over, but Jace was still holding one of my shoulders

"Are you good? I can't see you so I can't read your face. Do you want to talk about it?"

I shook my head too tired to even realize he couldn't see that but awake enough to know that I didn't want to go back to bed just yet

In fear of another dream like that

I guess Jace took my silence as a no, so he started again

"Do you just want to talk about goofy ish till you fall asleep again?"

Even though Jace couldn't see my face, he still knew me so well

I nodded my head more awake now

Then I realized he couldn't see that, so I quietly responded

"Yeah.....yeah, that'd be nice"

Jace then rustled around a bit

I saw his phone light up

It seemed he was searching for something

Supposedly the light

He did some more rustling and shuffling things around until he finally turned the lamp beside us on

Which took longer than I thought it would

Way to up the suspense

When I heard it, I was already slightly covering my eyes to shield myself from the brightness so I could avoid the sudden blindness

But instead, I was met with a dim light that wasn't even half as bright as the lamp in Jace's room usually

I look up to see that there's a small sheet of cloth over the lamps light

That must be why the light was dimmer

That must also be why it took Jace so long to turn on the light

I internally thanked him for his curtesy of my eyes before I spoke

"So..."

But he cut me off before I could say anything

"So... nothing...."

???

"Wha-?"

"Anyways. Did you hear about the new movie that's coming out?"

Oh my gooooddd, not now

"Do you seriously expect me to think right now? It's like 4 am"

He laughed

"You're so cranky when you're tired, but baby needs a lullaby before bed"

I scoffed

"F### you"

He let out a dramatic gasp

"Matt bro! Such a potty mouth"

He wagged his finger in front of my face with an angry expression

I couldn't help but chuckle a bit

When I did, he stared at me

And then I stared at him

In the dim room, I couldn't see it well

But he looked a bit flushed

But as quickly as I thought those thoughts, it was as quickly that I was ripped out of them by Jace

Because he opened his mouth

And started spouting about the new Mario movie

I groaned, but he just kept on going

So I actively tuned him out and just listened to his voice and the crickets outside

My eyes started to get heavy

And slowly but surely I was asleep again.
