Formaggio's POV

I woke up with a gasp as I sat up, my heart pounding in my chest. I tried to slow my breathing as I looked down at myself. I could see the faint marks of burn wounds and bullet holes on my arms and stomach. But as I looked around, I was only met with confusion. I remember being on Capri Island fighting that kid in orange, so how the fuck was I back at HQ? But, after trying to process everything, it suddenly started to click.

"Am I... dead?" I thought out loud, not expecting someone to reply.

"Yeah. You are." The person responded. And it was a voice I hadn't heard in a long time.

I looked up and was instantly taken aback by who I saw in front of me. "Wait," I murmured, completely in shock. "Sorbet? Gelato? Is... Is it really you?"

"Formaggio?" The blonde asked before walking up to me, and I could see that it was them. I instantly got to my feet and wrapped my arms around them in a tight hug, tears filling my eyes.

"I missed you so fuckin' much," I sobbed out, tears beginning to stream down my cheeks. "I thought I'd never see you two again."

"We missed you too, Formaggio," Sorbet kindly replied with a saddened smile. "It's good to see you again, old friend."

Gelato spoke in the same thoughtful tone and asked, "How have you been? It's been a while since we last got to talk."

"I've been alright," I replied, letting them go from the hug. "A lot of things have happened since you guys died."

"I guess we have a lot to catch up on."
