Mae stood frozen in place with her blankets bundling her in the middle of her room to scared to move -Jax is at college, mom doesn't want me with her... ugh- Mae thought to herself she ran to her bed bundled up cuddling her pillow then heard her phone ring "H-hello?" Mae said in a sleepy sad tone "Mae? That you?" the boy asked "Yeah who is this?" Mae asked "Hiro... Did you not read the name of the caller?" Hiro said chuckling "S-sor-" Mae shrieked as the thunder striked "Hey you okay?" Hiro asked her noticing her shriek "Y-ye-" She paused as another thunder strike happened really loud this time "No your not i'm coming over." Hiro said as he got his jacket and headed to her house he opened the door closed it gently as he entered he walked upstairs to her room and knocked signalling he was going to come in he stopped short as he saw a bundle of blankets sitting up "Mae?" he asked walking toward her under the blankets the thunder striked again and she shook he ran over to Mae "Mae are you okay?" he asked taking the blankets off of her she had he knees to her chest her face buried in her knees crying "Aww Mae." He said giving her a hug of comfort she jumped when the thunder roared "Oh? Scared of thunderstorms?" Hiro asked noticing her jumps every time there was a roar of thunder, she nodded she got out of her ball and hugged Hiro he continued to hug her "I'm scared" Mae said whispering "It will be okay." Hiro said softly his voice helped her calm down a bit she stopped crying she got occasional jump scares if it was really loud but other than that she got calm the both kept hugging each other and eventually drifted off to sleep. It was now 7 am on a Monday Mae's alarm clock buzzed as she woke up she saw the time and rubbed her eyes she got up and woke Hiro up "Time for school" She said sleepily he woke up "Hm? Okay." Hiro said "Bye love you! see you at school." he gave her a kiss and headed home to go get ready. Mae picked out her outfit Mae wore a black dress it was sleeveless like a tank top it went to her lower thighs it was a button down in the front and had a creme kind of bow at the waist in the front, the dress had a black collar like fancy shirts would have, she wore black short boots and wore a beaded bracelet. Mae ate breakfast and left for college Hiro just a few minuted behind her caught up wearing his usual navy blue hoodie, tan khakis, red shirts, and sneakers "Hey." He smiled intertwining their hands together "Hey." she smiled back they walked to college together "Today is your first official day! Aren't you excited!" Hiro asked happily and bubbly "Yeah, you're acting more excited than I am." Mae giggled at how Hiro was acting like it was his first day they entered the college Jax passes out in his office and the gang, Honey Lemon, Gogo, Fred, Wasabi, and Tadashi were in the break room Hiro went with them and Mae went to her office to finish unpacking the few boxes she had left. Mae sighed after she unpacked everything she folded the boxes and put them in the closet that was in the room so she could have more space she plopped down in her spinning chair and started to study just a few things she was already way to smart she dropped out of 2nd grade because she already knew everything even to college level at only age 7, she learned more everyday but she didn't have to rely on school with that then Mae heard screaming almost sounding like a fire alarm Mae jolted up and opened her door "What is going on?" Mae asked confused, very confused in fact "Nothing, we just normally try to sound like alarms on Monday you know get pumped up for the week" Wasabi said lying Mae sighed and face palmed shaking her head "Well that scared me thank you very much!" Mae said as she looked back up she went back into her office Tadashi had known Hiro was dating Mae and told the group as everyone knows Honey Lemon loves when people are happy so she cheered and everyone had to sound like sirens so she would not know what was going to happen next. "Guys it's not that big of a deal." Hiro said to the group Mae looked out her window singing Just One Yesterday from Fall Out Boy, "Yes it is!" Honey said Fred laughed as they were arguing.
