Leave Me Alone

It's a whole 24 hours since the cafe became mine, I still can't believe it. I head to the kitchen to make us all breakfast. I place a batch of mini apple pies into the oven. Waiting is the most boring part I hate waiting, I make my way over to the over side of the kitchen and turn on the radio. I start head bopping before I break out into song and dance AGAIN! Ben silently creeps into the room, he takes a seat at the counter watching me dance. I stop dancing and look directly at Ben.

"Nice try! Your not scaring me today."

Ben- "How are you feeling about going to work for yourself for the first time ever?"

"I'm so existed I know that nothing is actually going to change, I mean today will be just like every other day but it feels so different. I really like it."

BING! The timer for the apples pie's go of. I rush over to the apple pie's nerves to try them as this is the first time I have ever made them. I grab a small white plait out of the over head cupboard and place one of the pie's on it before handing it to Ben. We take a bit. A overwhelming feeling of disgust wash over us as we both run to the bin to spit it out. Ben grabs a jug of water and starts downing it.

I start coffing and gagging "I think I put way to much salt in them! I have to get to work I have to open up and set up, I can't wait!"

In between Ben chocking and downing water he shouts out to me, Ben- "I hope you have a good day, love you!"

I make my way to the cafe. Once I arrive there I unlock the main door and turn all of the lights on. I take a deep breath taking in every inch of the room like it the first time I have ever seen it. I set up all of the ovens and the mixers, I restock all of the ingrediencies so everything will be fresh. Holly Is the baker, she arrives 45 minuets after I do. Holly clocks in and starts baking what we will need for the day. Josh is the main singer at the bar, he is also a waiter at the cafe he arrives at the cafe at 9:30 the time we open. I make my way over to the door, I flip the closed sign so it now say open. I head over to the counter and wait for some customers. As Its Monday morning we only have a few customers, most people just want coffee before they have to go to work.

A few hours have past most of the cupcakes have been sold, so Holly is in the back making more and Josh is on his Lunch break, when an oddly familiar face hesitantly opens the door and walks in. He walks over to the counter.

"How may I help you today?"

The oddly familiar face- "Hello Thena!"

I read his mind!

"I think you have the wrong person!"

The oddly familiar face- "THENA!"

"Stay away from ME!.......... Holly I have to go! Your in charge until I get back!"

With tears in my eyes I run out of the door as fast can. I get on my bike and drive home, I need to talk to Ben! I run though the front door tears welling up in my eyes. Thomas and Ben run up to me as I collapse on the ground in tears. Ben pulls me into a hug.

In a concerned tone- " What's happened!? Are you Ok?"

"A familiar man came into the cafe today and...... and he called me Thena so I read his mind......... Its was Klaus, It was my Father he's ....He's been on earth this whole time and he's known where I have been this all this time!"

No one knows how to react. Ben just holds me till I'm able to composes my self and make the my tears stop. We are all in complete silence before Thomas finally says something.

Thomas- "I know you probably don't want to hear this right now and you want to be mad at Klaus but maybe you should talk to him find out why he didn't comes see you earlier, like when your mind block was first broken."

"I know your right but I just... I just don't want to speak to him."

I head back to the cafe with Ben. I finish working, then I clean everything as Ben is sat by the door of the cafe to make sure that Klaus doesn't try to talk to me again. I mean who does he think he is, the last time I saw him was 12 years ago and now he want's to walk back into my life like nothing ever happened. I was lead to think he was dead, I had accepted that he was gone, But now he's here. I don't know what to do or how to feel. Thomas was right I need to talk to him that's the only way I'm going to get any answers. Holly and Josh head home, I lock up me and Ben take my bike home and I go strait to bed, I'd rather have a bad dream then think about my reality.

Avery walks into the room with a glass jar of ashes.

"Avery!"

Avery- "I live here. What.. Wait that's not what your meant to say!"

I jump out of bed! I take a look around the room, I walk up to Avery grabbing the jar out of her hands and placing it on the floor.

"Come on Avery lest go outside!"

Avery- "Come with me please! Wait! Stop! THIS ISNT WHAT IS MEANT TO HAPPEN!"

I walks out of the door as Avery is still shouting! Everything looks the same, not a single thing has changed. I start running thought my house and out the front door. Its day time when we get outside the sun is shining brighter then I've ever seen before. Avery seems angry that I'm not playing my part right.

Avery- "Ren stop this! Your meant to be in pain and hurting and blaming your self for what happened to me!"

"You are NOT Avery. She would never want me to blame my self for what happened to her. I don't know who you are but this It's OVER! Glory Killed Avery. Avery was protecting me! She always wanted a hero to help people, I'm no hero. But I help people I will make sure that Avery's sacrifice was no for nothing!"

I look down at the grave to see the name has changed it no longer say Avery, it now says Bart Mick. The strange man from the cafe, the one I killed It was him making me have this dream.

"It's OVER Mick, you can't hurt me anymore. I'd like to wake up now."

My eyes flicker open. I sit up I'm my bed, ben is sound asleep next to me. I sit there for a moment thing about what happened with Klaus. Next time I see him I'm going to talk to him, make him explain everything to me. He may be my Father by blood, but he will have to try so hard to deserve to be called my dad.
