"Dad please, can we just go to KFC instead of having this stupid fancy dinner with whoever Judy even is?!" I plead. My eyes start to water with the ugly standard Italian restaurant door.
"Darling, trust me, you want to know who she is." We walk through the door despite my protests. I sit down, staring at the menu. An Italian restaurant with no PIZZA!? That's a crime against society. Everything has spinach, EW. Who even likes spinach in their ravioli? I stare out the wide, red windows. I see a half-limo outside. Why would rich people even come to this crappy place? I mean, don't get me wrong, this place is fancy. Too fancy. I see this brunette woman with black sunglasses and a long black dress. She heads to the door. My creep of a dad waves at her.
"Dad, you can't just wave at a celebrity!" I whisper-scream. To my surprise, she waves back at him. Oh god. She walks through the door, and my dad gets up toward her. "Dad, stop!"
"Honey, shut it. Let me be." I'm surprised to hear him talk to me that way. "If you wanted me to 'let you be' then next time don't bring me to a stupid restaurant that I don't even want to go to, or meet 'Judy', whoever that is!!" He stares at me for a second. "Sorry," I whisper. She kisses my dad on the cheek. I thought nothing was more disgusting than those romantic TV shows that are rated 7+ but really should be 18+ because of how cringy they are. But here we are. She leaves a red lipstick mark on my dad's chin. Blech. "Honey, this is Judy." I want to grab a shovel and dig my body up in a very large hole. No one would care anyway.
