Chapter 20:Truant

Monday morning

I get up as do my regular morning routine.Today I put on some light blue jeans a black v neck tee short and a necklace a simple chain with a cherry on it.I know 'Cherry Valence' but I kinda like my nickname for the first time,and it's not because of Vince.I walk out the door.I ran back inside because I forgot to feed Johnny.

I walk from the parking lot into the school and I see Aiden.

"Wassup Aiden?"I shout and nod my head

"Wassup."he mods back

"hey I want to change Vince's nickname."

"You can't just change his name."he shouted

"But come in he doesn't like it anymore give him Sodapop."

"Why Sodapop?"he asked

"Because he is like Vince and they have the same last name."

"So it isn't because Sodapop is hot."he claims

"No."

"so Sodapop isn't hot."he asked

"Soadpop is hot very hot but Vince is hotter."I blurt out ten cover my mouth and walk away.Aiden had this confusing look in his face then smiled jerk

"What did I just say"I mumbled to myself looked down then I hit someone.it's Vince,I wonder if he has talked with Aiden yet.

"Hey Cherry"he says nudging me.

"Hey."I say shyly

"Well how was your the rest of your sunday.?"he asked

"Fine me and Johnny just chilled."

"Cool so you tried to change my nickname."he smirked

"Aww shutup."I say walking away.He grabs my hand and rubs his thumb on the back of my hand

"It's okay I thinks it's really cool that you think I'm hotter that Sodapop Curtis."

"You suck I didn't mean that."I mutter

"What."he gets closer to me I was about to push him back but I let him get closer

"I knew you would come around."he smirked.By this time I could feel him breathing in me I could see his chest move up and down as he took each breath.I looked at his arms and remebered that it was still sore.I looked back at him staring into his gorgeous eyes brown, they were looking light brown he looked irresistible

"Umm did you hear me."he says waving his hand in my face.

"oh I'm sorry I kinda zoned out for a second."I mumbled

"No you were just checking me out for a second."

"no I wasnt."

"yeah I'm just simply irresistible."

"How did he know I was thinking that."I say to myself but I think he heard

"Well this is escalating quickly."he whispered.The bell rang

"I'm such a screw up."I mumble.I have my thoughts and my mind mixed up today.I knew I should have had breakfast.

"It's okay baby I like your necklace."he says grabbing it and pulling it causing me to get closer and when I'm right before we get any closer

"Let the games begin."I whisper into his ear.then I turn and walk away

"I knew this would be harder."he shouted

"wait how come your walking away from me I'm in front of our first period class."he shouts

'shit'I say to myself I turn around and walk back toward my class.he opens the door

"Ladies first."

"Age before beauty."I reply

"Well then I should go last since i'm hotter that Sodapop Curtis ."he mocked me

"you suck you really suck."i mumbled

"what what."he said puttin his hand against his ear pretending like he didnt hear

"YOUR A JERK."I shout the whole class heard and they were giving him bad looks

"My bad princess Cherry if I don't meet your standards."

"really I didn't mean it that way."

"no it's fine.Ms.I-think-I'm-better-than-everyone-because-I'm-such-a-goodie-too-shoes."he shouted

"Me and you know that's not who I am."I shout back

"I already know who you are your the type of girl I want to marry."he blurted his mouth dropped and do did my and all the kids in Mr.Allen'a class.I looked at him and he tried to walk out the door but Mr.Allen. Interrupted

"Sit down."he shouted

We sat by each other he whole class period we didn't say words he was just looking down and did his work I kept looking every once in a while to see his reaction.then he wrote on a sheet of paper

'I see you cherry.'

I took the paper and wrote

'what was that all about.'

I slide the note to him he looks at it and immediately start writing

'I don't know what your talking about.'

I read the note and slammed it against the table

"you know exactly what I'm talking about Vince."I whisper

"Okay what do you want to know about it."He asks

"What's wrong with you"

"what's wrong with me oh something always has to be wrong with me,never Aiden never Crystal,Me well you can go."he stopped and ran out of class

"Mr.Curtis stay in your seat."

"F---- off."he shouts.He class just begins the start gossiping I hear some of them

"Yeah she just broke up with him."

"She is such a bitch."

"I hear they went all the way"

"they have been only dating for two weeks."

I get up and face toward the class.

"okay let me clear thing out for you.Me and Vince Curtis are not going out.And second STAY OUT OF ME AND VINCES BUSINESS.and third of all me and Vince did not go all the way."I shout the girl who said I went all the way just flipped her hair.

"Now excuse me I have to leave."I tell Mr.Allen

"If you leave I'm marking you as truant."

"fine" I claim and all out the doors.
