Strands of hair fell on her face and cascaded down on her shoulders as she untied her hair from the clip. After walking out from the kitchen Ayeza ruffled her hair out of frustration then flopped down on the sofa. Still trying to find a way about how to approach the angry bird without starting a fight.
She jumped up in surprise when she felt cold hands on her neck. "Bhalu!!" The poet shouted knowing that this deed is surely done by that idiot.
Aliya removed her hands from her neck then ran around the house as the poet tried to catch her.
"Tumhe agar maine pakad liya na to bag ma pack kar ke Pakistan export kar dungi!" Aliya increased her running speed then turned her face towards the gate. Ayeza barely caught her when the bear took a sharp turn and found the angry bird standing by the flower bed on the left side of the garden but ended up colliding with a tree as she wasn't paying attention to her front.
Ayeza stopped her chase after the bear as she examined her lying beside the tree while holding her forehead. She was about to bend down to help the bear her eyes caught the sight of Deb who was busy watering the plants. She abruptly stopped her body from bending down as she reminisced about the recent accident.
"Kya kar rahi ho ghalib ki aulad meri madad to karo uthne ma!" Aliya voiced out a bit loudly which caught the other person's attention, the poet smacked her forehead mentally as she closed her eyes knowing that this annoying creature's voice caught the cat's attention.
"Yaha par aise hi leti raho achi lag rahi ho bhalu" Ayeza said then looked at her own feet which were partially covered in soil cause she forgot to wear her slippers.
Aliya stood up while holding the tree still hissing in pain but then started to laugh loudly as she glanced at the poet's feet. The poet thought something idiotic then tried to kick the bear on her knees by lifting up and swinging her left foot while Aliya shouted in protest as she saved herself from the continuous attacks.
On the left side of the garden Deb was trying to calm herself down after hearing the bear's outrageous shouts but ended up losing her cool as she strides angrily towards them after putting down the hose.
Ayeza watched her walking towards their direction with a small frown on her face so she gave the bear a good luck sign while showing both of her thumbs. Aliya stopped laughing for a second then swiftly turned her head towards the angry bird's direction who was just a few feet apart from reaching her she started running again trying to save herself from the problem that she invited on her own.
As the bear sprinted out from the garden the other two were left alone.
The poet cleared her throat trying to fight back the weird nervousness that started to spread out in her head. Deb glanced back and forth between the poet's feet and her face then signed her to follow her. Standing still in that spot for a while not understanding her gesture the cat grabbed the hose and turned it towards the poet's direction. Ayeza stumbled back out of shock then gave the angry bird a small glare.
"Pagal ho gaye ho kya?!" Ayeza shrieked loudly as she tried to cover her face from the continuous splash of water.
"Tumhare pao saaf karne ma madad kar rahi hu" As she heard her reason behind this mischief she shouted again "Haan to pao pe paani fenko na pagal insaan mere chehre par kyu phenk rahi ho!"
"Socha tumhare dimagh ko thoda sa thanda kar du yun aag ka gola ban kar bhag rahi ho idhar udhar agar kisi se takra gayi to phir se zameen par pohanch jao gi" Deb reasoned it out but Ayeza didn't agreed on it. If she was about to start a war on this, then a war she'll get.
"Wo dekho tumhare phool kharab ho gaye" As she threw the bait, the cat turned her head towards the flowers and this action of her gave the poet a chance to grab the hose from the angry bird's hand. It took Deb only a second to realize that the tables have turned and the one who's getting washed up was now her.
"Band karo ye pagalpan warna fir se gir jaougi" Deb said calmly still with a hint of urgency as she tried to grab the hose back from Ayeza's hand.
"Mera dimagh thanda kar diya na? Ab apna bhi kar lo angry bird" Ayeza responded still not leaving it and moved back few feet's to save herself from the angry bird's reach but being the clumsy human the poet was her left foot slipped out and she instantly grabbed the right hand of the angry bird who was probably shocked too but kind of expected it to happen so she pulled her towards herself.
"Jitni tumhari height hai na utna hi agar dimagh hota to aisi bacho jesi harkaten nahi karte tum. Mana bhi kiya tha ke gir jaougi lekin nahi jo man mai aaya wo karna hai agar abhi gir jaati or phir se chot lag jaati na tumh.." Deb stopped her scolding as she found her somewhere lost. She shook the poet a little as she was still within her hold but wasn't responding to her.
"Kaha kho gayi ho ghalib ki aulad?" Came Aliya's voice, the lost one glanced at her, and saw a sly grin on the bear's face. The poet's eyes then shifted frantically to Deb, the cat like human looking at her with a curious look on her face but concern hidden in her eyes.
