A few minutes later the door opened and Deb came out while holding a first aid box in her left hand.

Ayeza and Aliya were seated beside each other and were chatting with Deb's mother.

"Wese maa ek baat puchu aap se?" Aliya asked cautiously and the poet turned her head towards the other side as she saw the angry rabbit coming towards their direction Aliya asked her anticipated question from her mother "Ye jo billi hai ye kya har waqt ghuse ma hi rehti hai?" As she said, Ayeza hit Aliya's leg with her knee but the bear didn't pay any attention to it.

"Ye baat to mujhe bhi aaj tak nahi samajh ayi" Deb's mother answered quietly.

"Mujhse pucho na maa se puch kar kya milega?" Deb suggested with a cold tone while leaning towards the sofa.

Aliya jumped up from her seat and turned around as she just got a recent heart attack.

" Kuch nahi mai bas aise hi puch rahi thi" Aliya answered and ran as she hid  behind her mother.

"Ye first aid box kis liye?" Deb's mother asked curiously.

"Ghalib ke liye" Aliya answered it instead of her.

"Kon ghalib?" She asked again.

"Ye jo saamne bikhra hui insaan bethi hui hai na, ye hi ghalib hai" Aliya answered it again instead of her.

"Kaam bhi to tumhare hi aise hai na warna aisa kuch hota hi nahi" Deb spoke out and forwarded her left hand towards Ayeza's direction.

"Mai kya karu iska?" Ayeza asked her as she grabbed the box from her hand.

"Dawai ka dabba hai na, mithai ka to nahi hai? To fir khud ki dressing karo or kya karogi?" Deb said and walked towards the kitchen.

"Kesa laga ghalib?" Aliya's question brought the poet back to earth.

"Kya?" She asked.

"Pehli baar koi tumhare liye medicine box itne pyar se lekar aaya or akhir mai suna kar chala g...." The bear dodged her head to the left side as she missed the poet's shot. Aliya showed her a winning face and Ayeza threw another cushion in her face's direction. This time it directly landed on her face as she fell backwards.

While the bear was lying on the floor, Ayeza opened the medicine box as she tried to move herself to stand up, she sighed disappointingly as she wasn't able to do it.

Aliya got up from the floor and observed the poet's movements for a while but after seeing no progress she said something inside her mother's ear to which she agreed slightly.

"Deb! mai or Aliya bahir lawn ma jaa rahe hai, ghalib ki patti karne ma madad kar do!" After saying this both of them walked outside.

Deb came out from the kitchen after covering the soup with a lid.

"Chal kar room tak jaa sakti ho?" Deb asked trying to hide another hidden hint. But the poet understood it and looked at her face for a minute trying to confirm her sudden thoughts.

"Ye sawal hai to, nahi jaa sakti or agar koi or baat yaad karwana chahte ho to haan jaa sakti hu" after hearing her answers she took a minute to walk towards her and picked her up from the sofa.

"Agar bahir sahi waqt par ziddi ghalib ko nahi pakda hota to firse zameen ke saath mulaqat ho jaati tumhari" Deb said as she opened the door of guestroom, after placing her down on the bed she said again. " Mai medicine box le kar aati hu tum shirt utaro apni" After saying that she went outside.

The peot was sat still on the bed trying to process everything. After a few seconds Deb entered the room with the first aid box. "Tumse
abhi tak ek shirt nahi khuli?" Deb asked her as she placed the box on the side. "kaha kho gayi?" She asked again after sometime but the poet was still zoned out. Deb tapped the poet's forehead twice after trying to call her multiple times which brought her back to her senses.

"Shirt khud unbutton karni hai ya mai karu?" Ayeza turned her head to the other side and started to open her shirt's buttons.

Deb moved towards the poet's back and opened the box. She took out gauze, some cotton and the medicines that were prescribed by the doctor. After opening the bottle and applying some of it on the cotton she asked the poet to remove her shirt yet again. Ayeza lowered her shirt from her shoulders, Deb waited for a few seconds as she thought that Ayeza wasn't able to do it so she held her hand while stopping her to go further any more. She turned off the lights of the room and turned on the lamp.

Ayeza downed her head a bit and left the shirt which was held tightly within her palms. As the cloth got scattered on the bed sheets Deb's eyes trailed down to her spinal cord where a bandage was already tied. She started to remove the gauze and then started to clean her back with a small towel, after cleaning it up she applied the medicine on her lower left side of the back. After applying the medicines properly on her hurted parts, she asked her to held the gauze from one end so that she could tie it up around her waist while tying it around Deb said "Bewajah daantne ke liye maafi chahti hu, mujhe tumhare behosh ho jaane ke baad pata chala tha ke ye sab lom.. matlab Aliya ne kiya tha or baatien tumne sunli"

After the dressing got completed Ayeza moved her shirt upwards as Ayeza spoke out "Maafi mangne ki koi zarurat nahi hai jab anjaan the haqeeqat se to tumhari ghalti nahi thi" after hearing her answer Deb walked towards the door before closing the door she said "Mai dusri shirt le aati hu tumhare liye"

As the door got closed the poet fell on the bed with a light thud as she closed her eyes.
